Wow dude you did a good job on this, just practice more and viola you'll get a hang of it. As far as references go I use random screen caps, unless I'm drawing a specific character. Really liking the longer mane.

I know :/ My drawing skills are not that good. I am still a starter artist, a student. Yesterday night I was watching MLP season two... I fell asleep while watching it, and I dreamt of drawing a pony. And there it is. I'll try my best to improve my art. Tell me where I need to improve, keep the crittics good :3

 

Wait a minute if you fell asleep watching season two that means you had MLP playing in your head while you slept. Thus probably giving you MLP dreams. Which might in fact actualy give you a reference on a subconcience level of programming maybe?

 

Still better art work then me though.
