I've read Cupcakes, Sweet Apple Massacre, Rainbow Factory, The Experiments of Twilight Sparkle, Rarity's New Dress(I think that's what it's called), Pattycakes, some sick trollfic involving Ditzy Doo, My Little Scootaloo(it will suck to read for those who have just recently read MLD), PTFM(don't ask what that stands for)....I could go on a bit more but I'm afraid of how much this forums allows and tolerates. :/

 

They have all scarred me...one of which made me vomit. O:

Gosh dangit forgot to mention Cheerlies Garden! I've read that too...so utterly disturbing, so much gore....gah!!

It's probably at a tie with the anonymous story.

The only "scary" fanfic I've read that's pony-based is Cupcakes and I just found that to be hilarious/dumb as hell lol.

 

I just hate it when fans think they can make a "good" story just because they turned original characters into complete opposite personalities. That's also why I don't get phased by creepy fanfics because I know that the original characters would never do this sort of thing unless some sicko at MLP were to make an episode like that lol.

I couldn't read Cupcakes because of the rumors and comments about it.

 

For me the most mentally scarring stories are:

Severing

Reconnection

and Breaking the Circle

 

Though the third story wasn't nearly as scarring as the other two, it still belongs to this trilogy of stories.

 

I have read more stories too, but they are not MLP related.

I admire you guys' fortitude for actually reading these things. I won't even give them the time of day. I filter all the sick stuff out if I can. Well, unless it's something like Rarity seducing Sweetie Belle. That's the kind of sick that a few people out there can get some enjoyment out of. I don't know how anyone could like all these gore fics.

 

But then I don't know why anyone pays money to see the Hostel and Saw movies either! Do the fans of that stuff know something we don't know? Maybe those aren't really movies at all. You just walk into the theater, they lock the door and then a bunch of cheerleaders do a striptease and give you free pizza. That's the only reason I can imagine.

Truly, I don't find that I'm mentally scarred by most fanfictions. I laugh at Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory, because to me they are nothing.

 

Cheerilee's Garden though... That was just crossing the line. *shudders*

 

Also, both Fallout Equestria and Project Horizons had their moments where I just got up and walked off because it was so disturbing. Now I shall forever be haunted by pink clouds.

For the me looking into certain fanfic is from bile fascination. You know it's going to be bad, but you just want to see for yourself how bad. Granted I never read any of them straight, I watched reading videos or read MSTs of them to dampen the the blow.

 

As for gorey movies, it's human nature for people to want to experience fear in a safe environment.

I almost forgot about one clopfic, not gonna give the name, A certain member CRAZY MISTY told me to read it when I was chatting with him in skype.... after I was done, my mind was still trying to figure out what happened, I asked him how he was able to read that.... He said he never read it .-.

Eh, Pattycakes was weird, but I personally found it so retarded that I just laughed at it instead of letting it bother me.

 

Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, etc. I know are bogus, but they do bother me on some level. I blame myself for being so sensitive for a guy xP But I don't let it bug me for a long time; it's usually only the twenty minute span after I read said story.

I hated cupcakes. At first I thought it was a happy story, until it came to "I'll make you into cupcakes. The person who made this probably loves violence and gore. I have not read any other disturbing fanfics, but I have watched disturbing clips on TV.

this may sound a bit extrme but should we discourage fan fics like this. Because things like cupcakes and The Sweet apple acres massacre arnt really contributing to the fandom, infact they are creepying the be gebus out of it. Also in virtually all the situations they are not based on evidence on the characters, for example there is no way in hay that Pinkie Pie would become a murderer, shes crazy but...a bit of a big step. Also Big mac a serial killer....look at him..hes so cute and harmless! P.S Trixies fun hosue is the most messed up, sadisitc, freaking wierd, illegal, undesriable, blasphemous and most horrible thing i have ever read!

I have -accidentally- come across a few visual representations of Cupcakes on YouTube, and I must say that I was unscathed afterwards.

It's normal to have these feelings, and you know... We're an intense fandom and this kinda crap is inevitable. Some people like these fics, so let them like it. By discouraging something simply because it isn't normal and may be pretty freaking weird you are pretty much emulating the haters that do the same to all bronies.

My problem is that at least cupcakes is violent and only violent so it fits in with gore horror. While Trixies fun house, by making it sexual as well as gory is just..........ARGH!!!!!!! No. Publicly discouraging icky fanfics isn't fair, and it's a slippery slope to us trying to stop sex fics and clopping. It would only divide the fandom, draw more attention to the fics and encourage their authors, who would probably welcome the attention. I think it's better to keep our complaints private (like in here).

 

It's easy enough to just not read the stuff if you don't like it. Gorefics can be identified pretty easily through their summaries or where the story is going in the first page or so.

I just dont agree... IF you dont agree with my thats fine but i just dont think we should just stand by and let these be made without even discouraging them a bit. They are weird, disgusting and if i'm pretty sure these kind of people could be sent to therapy for making this kind of weird stuff. I just dont think we should encourage/leave it as it is stuff like that, which makes people think bronies/MLP fans are freaks.
