gaming The best violent game

Postal 2 has got to be the most violent game I've played, its even been banned in my country and by all means too, hacking off peoples limbs with machetes, cutting them in half with a scythe, putting a cat on the end of a rifle using it as a silencer, using the good ol' gas can and matches and the ability to pee on things. pluss the mass amounts of dark humour

Mortal Kombat... Hum... Gory but you don't FEEL the violence...

If we're talking about how violent the game feels, one of the more violent (and better) games I've played might be Condemned: Criminal Origins. Whacking hobos in the head with a lead pipe... 'nuff said.

The Last Of Us looks like it'll be pretty violent and should give a pretty satisfying feeling when you thump a guy in the face with the butt of a gun. (Like at the end of the E3 demo)

Borderlands is one of my favorite games of all time because of how over the top violent it is. Heads dissolve, limbs disintegrate, and bodies explode all without getting too serious due to the light-hearted humor that is maintained throughout. I highly recommend it to shooter/RPG fans, as well as its sequel which is coming out soon. Its not very scary though...

Fluttershy loves all animals equally, but she loves squids the most equally

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, your shooting orks with highly explosive 75 caliber rounds, and you see the blood go everywhere, and you get a chainsword, CHAINSAW SWORD, whats better then that.

Yup. I would have to say the Dead Space series is the most violent/gory game I have seen. Anyone in the game (even you) could be blown to tiny bits of flesh. And the way each necromorph looks. Imagine, thoses things used to be human. And I have noticed, in the game, you could keep stomping on decapitated limbs and blood will go everywhere. And the way it just mindfucks you. I just love it!

Just another background cat. Move along.

What is the best violent game that you have played? I would say Alice: Madness returns (Because I dont play much violent games) This was actually the first most and best violent game I have played that involved blood, gore, and scary effects. Kinda lame of me..but it's the truth

Share. Whats the most and best violent game? It dont have to be gory, bloody, or anything. It can be however scary you think it is. Or violent. :)

OMGOMGOMGOMG hahaha I LOVE* Alice: Madness Returns :3

But as for the scariest(which is all I can think of haha) is probably Dead Space 2 or what ever. When its like midnight and you're 100% alone haha

I have to say Happy Wheels, disregarding that it is a Flash game, it's still a game and it's more bloody/gory than anything i've played

Dear God I love Happy Wheels! Only thing I hate about it is all those attention whores who just make those half assed levels and then say "give me 5 stars; I worked really hard on it!"

You guys said pretty much nearly every violent game I know. I'll add another one to the list "Dwarf Fortress". That game sure has got some nasty combat. Let me show you an example:

Warning! : Violent combat log

You bite the leader in the lower body with your upper right tooth, bruising the skin through the rope reed fiber tunic!

You latch on firmly!

You shake the leader around by the lower body with your upper right tooth, tearing the skin and spilling his guts!

You bite the leader in the guts with your lower left tooth, bruising it!

You latch on firmly!

You shake the leader around by the guts with your lower left tooth and the severed piece flies off in an arc!

The leader guts remain firmly in your grip!

The spinning leader guts strike the leader in the head, shattering the skull, jamming the skull through the brain, and taring the brain through the rope reed fiber hood!

A tendon in the skull has been torn

The leader has been knocked unconscious!

As Morgoras, human maceman has been shot and killed!

A game I'm grown up with. Quake 3: Arena.

Okay, maybe it wasn't so healthy for a 3-year old kid to play that game but anyway. It's made in 1999 so I find it to be one of the most violent games.

One word. Awesomeness.

The Thing and my reasoning being that, it's the only game where I've gotten an actual challenge from the game itself and not just some cheap game mechanism. Plus the ambiance of the game was just perfectly recreated from that of the film.

Skyrim because you can kill ANYONE. Left 4 Dead 2 because of the 1000 or so zombies per campaign. Gears of War 3 because come on you have a chainsaw gun. God of War 3 because it is one of the bloodiest games you will EVER play.
