music This is my first song ever. I'd like some feedback

Just forget about this whole thing. I really messed what this used to be up and I can't come up with anything other than one beat. Could some Admin or whatever delete this for me? It was a waste of my, and everypony elses' time. Assuming this is deleted and that somepony will see this before it's deleted. It sounds like the drums are going way faster than they should be. What BPM did you set it at?

 

As for the piano, it's pretty random and erratic sounding. It will sound a lot more "organized" when you compose your melody from a complete scale.

 

I'm not trying to be mean or harsh. Just being honest. I am an amateur musician as well, so I know how difficult it can be sometimes. If you ever want any pointers or advice on music, i'm willing to help

If you want me to be completely blunt with you, this did not sound good at all. It sounded like you took a bunch of sounds and mixed them together in a random order. Nothing personal, just critique.

here is an example i did a while back it is a minecraftesque piano piece, but i'm just showing consistency is key.

btw try listening to a solo piece i composed a while back inspired by minecraft... idk it just shows tempo and harmonizing, so try it out.

I'm intrigued as to what could have inspired this. It is rather chaotic, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and guess that was for creating a certain mood rather than just being a bunch of notes thrown together.

 

This piece does have a very odd tone to it, but it still carries a consistent tone of what I interpret as eccentric delight. For me, it would be best described as...interesting or intriguing.

 

I did, however, enjoy listening to it as it was fascinating to follow.

But on a more serious note, I'd follow the advice that's been given to you, and try to better organize the composition better, and slowing down the drums might help.

I know, to be honest, I think I was really just kinda messing around, thanks for the critique and the offer. I might message you if I do seek help

That's pretty much exactly what I did, perhaps I should try a little harder before requesting critique but I did a few other projects after this and might upload them tomorrow (or, technically, today) depending on what I think of them then

Unfortunately not. I wasn't consciously going for any kind of mood and if I was, I'm not sure how to describe what it would be. Likely not delight though. Delight is a rarity for me

Thank you, I don't remember who it was that asked about the BPM but if there were any options for it, I didn't find them, tempo was default 130 though. And I'm not sure how to slow down specific instruments in one pattern but I will do so once I find out how. Anyone mind telling me?

 

Thanks for all the critique everyone and if the inspiration stays you may be able to expect some better projects from me. I'll post new ones here once they're made so check back here often if it seems like I do stay inspired..._{and...i-if...it's ok with ya-you...}

Edit: I take back what I said about not trying. I think I was ashamed of how bad that was, especially after comparing it to my other projects which probably aren't very good either. I promise I'll try harder before requesting more critique for the next song I popst
