pony trades/swaps

When I was searching MLP forums (and discovered this site) I also came across the MLP Trading Post. While I have yet to participate in any trades/swaps/transactions on their site, I have done many many trades & swaps through other websites. It's a ton of fun!

 

...to be honest, before the show MLPFiM became popular, collecting and trading my little ponies was big amongst toy collectors. When I came to this site I was surprised to see that there aren't any trading/swaping forums on here. It is a hassle to manage that sort of thing, so I understand why, I was just surprised.

 

Are any of you also active over there, or participate in any swap groups or forums?

My friends and I used to trade items such as airsoft guns a lot.

One reason why we haven't had any kind of trade/swap system here is because this site is primarily targeted to bronies and discussion of the FiM TV show. There isn't much emphasis on merchandise here, in fact, for a while we didn't even have a merchandise forum. We are currently working on a little something though. Hopefully we'll be able to reveal it soon.

 

As for trade sites that I visit, I am an active member on MLP Arena but I haven't participated in any trades yet.

I go on that forum sometimes, seems more women as its a "every generation" my little pony forum, rather then a g4 strict one

so it really weeds out bronies lol

I was an active member over on the MLPArena for about 4 years, but I typically didn't trade ponies, I bought. Mostly because I never really had anything that anyone ever wanted. But I have a feeling that has changed now. I have a lot of very rare old ponies that are a little more on the valuable side. But I'd probably trade them for something like...cash...for my Merida bow.

 

I would be willing to trade now though. I've got quite the G4 collection going. Though, not many doubles in terms of the unusual ones.

is this site supposed to be only for g4 fans? i guess i missed the part where bronies only liked g4. i thought it was just ponies in general with g4 as the gateway. but im still new to all this ^^;

Merida? Main character from Brave? And yeah, I have a few that are worth about 100$...Honestly I should sell them X3 They're just sitting in a cabinet. I can't really even enjoy them :\

not this fourm the trading forum, as I said that forum is for all generations of MLP so you don't see too many bronies there, because they only usually like g4

Yeah, it is a bow! But its the bow that Merida used in the movie Brave from this summer XD I want to take up archery. What you have to understand about my collection is that it numbers in the mid 200s, so one shelf or even two just won't cut it. I really do just need to thin the herd.
