Does it come with any foil cards in the 9 Character/pet/moment of friendship cards part of the pack? I hope it has foil cards because I need foil cards since I always get all the non foil cards first.

 

I would think so considering the next thing on the list is 2 foils.  I would come with 9 regular cards, 2 foils,  2 tattoos, and 1 sweepstakes card along with the special sticker.

Picked up my season 1 box today! My entertainment budget is finished for a while, so will be searching for work to fund the card hunt.

A lot of the other pages filled out nicely, so my collection is off to a solid start.

I'm planning to get a series 2 box pretty soon. Spent all my birthday money on series 1, but it'll be my birthday again in a few days   I really don't spend money that often, so it tends to sit there until I find something really worthwhile- like these cards   Will need to get some more card pages for the binder and set a bit aside for S1, so finding a similar deal for an S2 30-pack box would be awesome!

So yesterday I went and bought two more packs. It seems that my luck is coming back because in one pack I finally got a foil Fluttershy , and in the other I got an other Princess Cadance foil puzzle piece.

Gahh, whenever I go to my local Target they never have the trading cards. 

They do have cool slap-braclets though. I was going to get one but I wussed out because there were people behind me.

Oh I know about the second printing. I have some second-print cards. But the first wave was released in July 2012 and was sold out in a month or two. The second printing was released at the end of September or the beginning of October of 2012. Those hung around stores until they sold out. If there are any series 1 cards still at stores, they are leftover from over 6 months ago.

Well that's good if collectors aren't differentiating between the 2 printings for those who are getting into collecting them a bit late. It would just suck to make a trxn on ebay and then have the printing become a problem for those few who do.

Just received my Series 2, 30 pack box from Amazon. At only $40, it's a very nice deal compared to buying them individually. Incoming pics!

Just placed an order for my series 2 box, card sleeves, and some top loaders (will be ready to trade soon). Also pre-ordered the official MLP EoH FiM guide   which pushes the delivery date back to the 14th

 

Looking forward to when it all arrives; also wondering where to store my series 2 cards. There's a 2nd MLP collector's binder on pre-order, but no image available  Guess I'll wait and see.

If you want an image of the series 2 binders, you can see it when you get the card list in the newest tin with the series 2 Rainbow Dash card. It's the tin with the mane 6 on it and Fluttershy is in the front.

     Well, I got an other card pack today, one of those big 15 card fun pack things.  I'm not sure whether to consider myself lucky or unlucky because I've found the Princess Cadance puzzle card...for the third time

If you want an image of the series 2 binders, you can see it when you get the card list in the newest tin with the series 2 Rainbow Dash card. It's the tin with the mane 6 on it and Fluttershy is in the front.

 

You could also get the series 1 binder. I have that one right now, and it comes with the Discord puzzle.

Found a youtube video with someone opening that tin, so I got to glance the new binders. Which are awesome  

There are two versions of the series 2 binder- Ponies Hug (moment where Twilight knows how to fix Star Swirls' spell) and Princess Twilight (an absolute favorite of mine). I only need one to carry my season 2 collection, but doesn't hurt to have another to carry my extras / switch between.

 

I also have the series 1 binder, so getting both of these will complete the set.

 

On another note, I'm considering another season 1 box. I have most common cards; need a few foils and gold cards (which can always be traded for the other golds I'm missing). I don't have enough extras to trade much anyhow, so it seems like my best option.

 

EDIT: It's only been a week since posting this?! Well....somehow ordered AND received my final season 1 30-pack box.

 

Only missing a few characters cards and moments of friendship, along with 4 pieces of the Royal Wedding (and some golds). I was really lucky with this box! Got all the foil parallels I was missing, Golden Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Golden Princess Twilight  , and final piece I needed for Puzzle set A (among other things I was missing). Season 1 collection is almost complete  

 

Lots of great extras to trade, too. Once I get those top loaders next week, I'll be ready!

On top of that, I recommend using both sites to find cards that you are looking for if you have no one else to trade with. Common cards are better traded, and foils are better bought, even though it can get pricey.

thanks, I just signed up on Trade Cards. same user name there as here. I'll have to pass on buying cards, my funds are limited.
