NEW FURBYS!

Remember "Furby", those toys that scare or entertain kids back in the late 90's to early 00's? When I was a kid, I never actually own a Furby, though I only played these toys owned by my cousins. Around 3-4 weeks ago, when I was surfing on Twitter, I read the Gizmondo article about the return of Furbies by mid-September (actually September 16 this year) and it fueled my interest in these cute toy pets. I got a "yes" from one of my parents about these cute toys (Furby) and I felt happy and so special and sometime around autumn before winter, I'm gonna buy one or I'll just add it in my "Dear Santa" list.

These things always creeped me out. It seems like nothing has changed. And I have a question: What the hell is with those eyes? They used to have blinky round eyes, I´m not sure how to feel about these.

I dunno...Maybe because for these Hasbro guys, they decided to change some features (the eyes with eyelashes and the furry ears) and some other stuff like that.

I'll get one anyway cause I heard Target is handing them out early, Also I have a habit of buying thing I don't like. But this does not even look like a furby! What happened? Why remove the hair? I know it has a sensor in it's head but at least give it a mane like some of them had.

Whaddya mean "not a Furby"? That IS a Furby, with different features and made by a different company other than Tiger Electronics.

I just don't think it looks like a Furby anymore. The only thing making it a furby is the beak and the feet. I just think the old furby will always be better even with this new electronics.

 

I have one now. If you head down to Target they have them for sale for cheap! It is pretty interesting and it's big, It sings to the song you play.

So this is how the world ends. Think about it if the world is suppose to end on December 21 2012 and these things are coming out in just a few days then by December how many kids do you think will have them? How many parents will buy them and keep them in the closet until Christmas. On December 21 the Furbys will lunch their attack on mankind. We have to fight back. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THESE!! In fact smash them all with a sledge hammer as soon as you see one. We have to prepare for the invasion.

 

Hasbro thought they could distract us with magical ponies and giant transforming robots voiced by Peter Cullen well they can't. We must ban together to fight the Furby menace. WHO'S WITH ME!!!

I saw they were for pre-order at my local wal-mart and I was actually surprised. Are Furby's even relevant anymore? Well, it's nice to see the damn things again. Even if I always hated the things...

Hey, I saw that video on YT long before I've seen this on this forum! BTW, I LOL'd at Furby just burped 0:59. It was all thanks to "Gizmondo" for introducing me those newborn Furbies!

ah, I guess I could ask you why .-. unless you're asking me why my parents wouldn't buy me a furby XD my parent's didn't really buy me a lot of toys when I was little /: they brought home McDonald's toys all the time, but real toys were only for special occasions. also, they rarely bought me anything that makes noise, so I mostly had stuffed animals and craft supplies.
