Definitely Twilight Sparkle for main character and it would be in Equestria. I love Twilight Sparkle. As for side character I’m not really sure. Maybe Lyra Heartstrings in the human world if we’re going by fandom interpretation? I don’t know, that could potentially be funny, I guess.

I don't know, there are so many great Ponies in the show. Princess Luna is an interesting character. I made a fanfic where my imaginary self literally gets reborn in an alternate timeline version of Equestria, so I guess it would solely depend on how I was raised, who I'd spend time with. Fluttershy I would like to spend a day out wearing flower crowns with for friendship. To be nurtured in a way that ensures I'd be a positive influence around them that's a fantasy I do have. While there are dark aspects in my fanfiction, the existence of the Bardo and the afterlife with its bureaucracy, is the reason for that. Even then, not too much detail about deaths is depicted or shown.
