Got back into in full, trying to gear up for raids and all. I started my new account on Wyrmrest because I thought I wanted to RP, but in hindsight WoW RP kind of sucks compared to forum RP so I don't actually do much of that lol. Might transfer when I get the cash to spare.

Oh man, I love WoW, but I live with my parents and they would complain when I played, because it eats up the internet. If I had my own internet, i would be investing a lot more time in it. I've got a level 85 Draenai Retribution Paladin, DPS, a level 55 Worgen Death Knight, and a level 5 Night Elf Monk. I absolutely love this game. There's so much to do. Side quests, dungeons, raids, different professions, mounts, PvP is lot of fun. Can't wait for the next expansion this year. Again, I can't play it, cuz it eats up the internet. Doesn't help that we have like 15 different things connected to it and my dad only has 15Mbps limit.

I have deleted all my chars. I dont want to be playing WoW anymore, the fun isnt there anymore. Even tho I wish I could be as excited for it as I was in TBC WOTLK

Played since Vanilla and still enjoying it as much as I always have, it's my favourite MMO and probably my favourite game for PC in general. The new character models coming with Warlords of Draenor look great so far and the environments look just as good.

 

PvP in MoP did my fucking head in though since people used to get full sets of Heroic raid gear and fuck you up even though you were wearing full arena, it wasn't balanced at all, PvE gear is for PvE not PvP... They sorted that with the Prideful gear that came in 5.4.1 though so no biggie I suppose.

I haven't interacted with mine since I left it to go fuck shit up at Bladespire Citadel. I did get Mulverick as a garrison follower, which was cool.

I played this game since TBC expansion, when a couple of friends badgered me into trying it out. It was quite enjoyable at first, and i played around a lot. Bought all the subsequent expansions up till MoP, which was when i stopped playing. I didn't like all the changes to the game. The enhancements they made to the visuals were great, but the gameplay in general wasn't enjoyable anymore. 

 

I could aruge i didn't like getting used to a character's talents and abilities over and over again because i had to change them to compensate for game patches and expansion changes, but that isn't what got me, when i think about it. PvP for instance, used to be intriguing for me because certain classes had advantages over others (kind of like rock paper scissors) - they seemed to embrace the philosophy of giving everyone a fair chance against everyone, which made the game a little too foreign to me. I liked having hard (but rewarding) fights against players who have a class which outplays mine. The changes they made on pvp gear (especially during the last expansion) left me with a rather sour taste, too.

 

I tried playing some PvE for a while, even found it quite enjoyable (especially in wrath of the lich king, which had some of my most favorite instances and bosses). The game is meant to be played socially, with other players, so i found myself a guild. But most players i ended up with couldn't really follow positioning orders, and lots of in-game drama ensued. 

 

I realized that the only reason i was putting up with the game at this point was because my friends were still playing it. I quit shortly after. They eventually quit too.

Idk, maybe it's the game, maybe it's the players, maybe it's even me. But something changed, and it's just isn't fun for me anymore.

Funnily enough, I can't really test because of a terrible bug that affects everyone:

 

Whenever an alliance person turns in a certain quest 4-5 zones away from us (over in Frostfire Ridge) in Shadowmoon Valley  to Velen, his dialogue causes massive lag, a huge blast of sound, and everything to disappear for 20-30 seconds. Then, around 5 minutes later, the server crashes and you get thrown back to your Garrison.

 

Other than that, I found an invisible rock that I textured over with my mount's paw-prints.

My good friend plays this game like all the time. Ever since 2007 he has been addicted to this game, practically sucks the life out of him. I haven't played much of it and only touched the demo of the game years back. It looks fun and all but so much time is dedicated just to play it.

I have a bit of complaining to do related to the last two dungeon groups I ran with. The healers in both were totally clueless and the tank in the first group kept pulling too early. We wiped three times on the first dungeon before even getting to the first boss, and at that point I took the penalty and quit. At least the second dungeon I ran was a bit better, though I had to lead everyone through it while they kept wandering off. The second dungeon was Dire Maul - Capital Gardens, and we wiped three times on Illyanna because the healer kept letting the tank die, and then everyone else would die until just I (a hunter) and a rogue were left. Now, the fourth time, everyone but the rogue and died, but we managed to kill Ferra, so, with some lick, we actually took out Illyanna. However, everyone quit, so after a bit I a new group came in and we finished up pretty easily.

 

Yeah, it was pretty bad.
