mega thread MLP:FiM Gameloft App, Friends, and Info

I seem to be having a little, scratch that, huge parasprite problem in my copy of the MLP ios game. Apparently, they just started springing up like crazy in my town because I was saving up bits for Fluttershy. First it was one group, then that doubled and then quickly spread til I was out (still am!) and there are now 10 groups buzzing around ponyville. To make this clear, I have 50FREAKING PARASPRITES SWARMING PONYVILLE!

 

I need a crap-ton of kindness shards to get rid of these punks before more spring up. Just opened my app and two more groups popped in.

 

Yeah I know how you feel. Well kindness parasprites are popping up huh? I'm fairly certain it changes depending on what level you are at. As for me I know how it is because I'm saving up for the Loyalty stone and so far I have around 47/125... As of a couple of days ago Loyalty parasprites are continuing to infest me. I guess I'll just wait it out until I pay for the stone.

 

Though certain shops are more likely to produce a given shard when you assign ponies there.

Have you accepted friends via going to the "messages" section and checking the "requests" tab when logging into Gameloft yet?

Is Derpy missing her box for anyone else or is my game just glitching?

This is very annoying....

It only occurs in Ponyville, and not in Canterlot...

Hi,

 

I have a few questions and I really hope some of you can help.

 

First, Derpy is gone and I have not seen her for at least a week now. Is this normal ?

Then, I have too many parasprites spawning and they spawn faster than I can get rid of them. I used up all my kindness and loyalty shards and the only parasprites spawning are the ones requiring kindness and loyalty shards (same thing goes for the changelings). What to do ?

 

Finally, does activating the elements of harmony have any effects on the parasprites ?

Is your Derpy gone or just missing her box? Check the previous page to see the no box glitch screenshot. You could just be overlooking her without her box, she is much harder to find sometimes without it depending on where she spawns.

 

Can't help ya with the too many parasprites thing, my town is covered in dirt paths to keep them at bay.

 

Activating a harmony stone has no effect on them.

If you guys are having problems with the pests and low on elements of harmony shards to get rid of them, here's what you need to do

 

1. spread your ponies across your shops in ponyville, canterlot, and sweet apple acres. If you don't have enough stars to assign them to the shops, it would be best to build up the stars.

 

2. don't spend your elements of harmony shards to the elements of harmony stones.

 

3. If you have a lot of hearts, you can spend 30 hearts for a chance in getting elements of harmony shards at flim & flam's balloon pop game. you can also get the shards from the free play too (which is on the left)

 

and 4. if you have mine cart wheels ready, just spend all 5 of your wheels to the mini-game and use 2x multiplier.

 

It is highly advised to unlock elements of harmony stones first before you use the shards on the pests.

Why ? I was told earlier that the stones have no effect whatsoever. And you don't get more shards by activating the stones.

Today I encountered strange problem: my current game situation has been literally moved back to position from 3-4 days ago. First time I logged in at 9:00 am and everything was OK. When I logged again at 2 pm I found my situation withdrawn.

What in tarnation happened?

Why ? I was told earlier that the stones have no effect whatsoever. And you don't get more shards by activating the stones.

 

Well it's because that the cost of the shards to unlock cost more than what the pests has to offer. For me on my end, Well I've been getting more shards than the usual rate after unlocking the elements of harmony shards, but not sure if that's true though.

Kay, just received heap of hearts from GLL friends.

 

So I was curious about some of the friends town. I was like, wait you dismiss all the shadow patch then leave them alone?! That could bring a lot of parasprite!!

Not really. It's the gems that's hard to get these days. As for money making and farming shards,you have to manage your shops so you can spread your ponies across the shops. If you looked at mine, then it would have no problem at all.

In Ponyville, the shops which primarily give kindness shards are the house of hats, the day spa, the mane salon, the asparagus stand and the joke shop.

 

In Canterlot, the shop which primarily gives kindness shard is the donut shop.

I don't know about Sweet Apple Acres.
