He said, "This trip will be a lot safer for you and my grip will be a lot tighter if you refrain from shouting, moving, speaking, crying, or breathing too loud. The las mud pony I was forced to do this to did all five of those things. It was most unpleasant."

 

Trench cuffed Windscars wings together and walked along side him, escorting him to the cells. He had the faintest smell of whiskey on his breath when he spoke. "Got a whole day to waistin' caus of the... Ponies like you is the reason for the... Pah! You know what I'm trying to say!"

Star Flower grabs a combat spellbook and gives it a quick read before putting it back on the shelf. Then, nervous and shaking, goes up to Sapphire. "I-is there anything you w-want me to d-do?",she asked. She also couldn't help noticing a prisoner inside as the door shut.

Snowy Fields watched as a Cherry Blossom was taken to her cell by Commander Sapphire and the guards. "Well at least thats out of the way. i should probably go report to the barracks and see if there's any paper work to fill out." Snowy Fields thought to himself. Out of habit Snowy Fields walked into the barracks and over to the public schedule to see where he was to report. "It looks like I was supposed to report to the Commander today, crap that's why she found me. I should go apologize and report to her. If I hurry she may still be in prison." He thought.

 

Snow Fields ran to the prison and walked inside. After pulling rank on a few of the guards he was told where Sapphire had taken the Pegasus. As he walked into the room he saw that she was talking to another soldier. He waited for a break in their conversation before saluting and saying, "Snowy Fields reporting for duty Ma'am. I'm sorry I didn't come to the barracks before going on patrol."

He took the glass, "Well, we just got here. It took me ten minutes to remember to get the tea and carrots. It took you maybe one." He gratefully accepted the water and drank three glassess, then blushed, thinking he was looking greedy. "Ehem, you can have, like, the rest, or something..."

 

"No, no, it's fine... have as much as you like..."

"Honestly, I hope he is actually ok. I mean, he isn't getting paid much from what I can tell, and he still has to go to ration days... Maybe Surge was being nice to the 'richer' ponies... If he was, I'm going to have to deal with him."

Velnir shrugged, "Well, it's not like I can drink all of this in one sitting by myself. How about we go deliver this," he holds up the poison joke, "To Surge, and then we come back and do... Stuff. Like, finishing the water as much as possible." He smiled, and gestured towards the door.

Sapphire saw a new recruit approach her. "Y-" She was cut off by Snowy. "Ahh Snowy, that's quite all right you went on patrol. If you didn't Lemon and the pegasus could of frozen to death out there." She remembered about the other pony. "Snowy, I need you to come with me on a scouting mission." She told Snowy. "You could come too, uhh... I haven't gotten your name, sorry." She said to Star.

Fire Blade felt a bit like he had gotten one her bad side, or like he had annoyed her. That isn't a start you want with your boss. And after he said that, he felt as if he should have just kept quiet and waited for her to give him orders.

 

Velnir shrugged, "Well, it's not like I can drink all of this in one sitting by myself. How about we go deliver this," he holds up the poison joke, "To Surge, and then we come back and do... Stuff. Like, finishing the water as much as possible." He smiled, and gestured towards the door.

 

"We first need a little plan. We can't just say stuff because, well.. things need to be done around here."

She took a small sip of water and stood up.

"Maybe while we deliver this to Surge, we can ask him if anything else needs to be done botanical and/or farming-wise."

Alli turned from the window, "Miss Pegasus, did you hear me?" She asked. "What is your name?"

"Of course, Ma'm. I'm ready to leave when you are. Is this the cell of the pegasus?" He asked. A lot of soldiers are in here talking to the commander. For a brief moment the world briefly spun and Snowy almost lost his balance, he regained it quickly enough and hoped that nopony saw. The blood loss from sealing the Contract is a bit more annoying than I had thought.

Sapphire turned to Fire. "You may come with us too. But that should be enough, anymore ponies and we could stop calling it a stealth mission. We are headed to scout out the earth pony's borders. Pack only essentials we need to maintain a stealthy approach to this." Sapphire said to all there.

Meanwhile the squad of unicorns Sapphire ordered previously were readying up to join them in the scouting mission.

Flame laughed. If you obey those simple rules than you'll be fine. He said, as Pegalopolis came into sight.

I cant wait to climb into a nice warm fluffy cloud. He thought, looking up at bright full moon. The city looks beautiful under this moon. He said, smiling at the glowing city.

Sapphire told the guard to notify Aelicine that she will be heading out.

Sapphire nodded. "Yes this is the pegasus' cell." She said to Snowy. Sapphire had a sharp eye, noticed Snowy stumble for a second. "Are you alright? Is something wrong?" Sapphire asked him with a concerned tone.

Snowy Fields blushed slightly, embarrassed that he had been seen. "Um...Yes, just a little tired. Thank you for asking." I can rest later, right now I have a mission to go on. Maybe we can find out if the Earth Ponies are hording food. It'd be a shame if they were, but it is a possibility.

"You ponies prepare your gear, we will be heading out soon. We will meet up outside the barracks." Sapphire instructed the group before she left. She went to the unicorn armory and got two knives, a crossbow and some bolts. She quickly then went to her quarters and put some gemstones into her saddlebag. She headed to the barracks.

The squad of unicorns were ready to head out, they assembled at the meeting place which they were instructed. (OOC Everypony coming with Sapphire meet outside the barracks. These unicorns are just NPCs.)

"M-My name is Cherry Blossom," she said to Aelicine as she moved her head downward.

 

Cherry Blossom turned away from all of them. "A-Am I being held here just because I set hoof into your territory? I'm sorry, but I helped a fellow Unicorn of yours." she was shivering from some cold coming in from the barred windows and was a bit intimidated by the surrounding Unicorns.

"Well, I've always been on a farm, but I've had some kind of passion for speed mixed with a bit of machinery. I guess that explains my cutie mark. To be honesty, why it's a snake, I almost have no idea... I guess it symbolizes the speed mixed with machinery aspect of my life..."

Velnir nodded when she said speed, "Yes, speed I could definitely see. Always something to do and places to be with you," he grinned, "A little bit different to a pony who's job is to wait." They came into town and heard someponies talking about a captured pegasus, "I'd be willing to bet that that's where Surge is."

Lemon Scarlet's eyes didn't flutter open, but instead, they slowly opened up, like a flower blooming in the spring. Above her, white. Next to her, white. Walls, white. On her, white. Wait a minute! Her eyes slowly focused on the white apron she was wearing. A-am I in the hospital! She tried to sit up, but she couldn't as something pressed down on her, and she didn't exactly feel like standing up either. She sighed reluctantly, taking the cup of water from bedside and pouring the liquid down her throat.

 

While she was at it, laying here, left hoof frozen, not cold, but frozen, maybe even paralyzed, she might as well continue sleeping. Her leg would heal, as it did those many times in training when something similar had occurred. She lay back down, her neck relieving herself from a good, hard stretch that she hadn't even wanted to do. She kept her eyes open, trying to think, but nothing was on her mind, and when something like that happens and you're tired at the same time, you sleep...

 

((OOC: Last post for about four days. Don't kick me out, and as soon as I'm back, I'll have her wake up, find herself able to move, and she'll be off. ))

Martin slowly rose with Greylight up to Pegalopolis and fearfully looked down at the ground that was growing farther and farther away. However, he felt secure in that she would save him if he fell. He turned his head to the horizon and caught a glimpse of the sun just about to rise when a gust of wind came out of nowhere and his hoof slipped. He almost fell but managed to hold on from catch one of Greylight's back hooves before he did.

Cumulus was the first to step down onto the clouds. They still had to carry the earth pony because they couldn't walk on clouds. It was just another thing to annoy him. He loosened his grip because he was a little tired from all of the flying he had done, but mostly just to scare Flame runner.

Star Flower packs her gear up as instructed. Before packing though she says,"Ma'am, my name is Star Flower, but feel free to call me Star." She not only packs her gear, but also a spellbook(which she can make disappear into thin air or reappear anytime she wants) and a diary. She then goes to the meeting place.
