Favorite MLP Shipping and Why?

Well, here's MY two cents. I don't dislike shipping. Unless it's same gender. Then I spaz out. I would say Cadence and shing armor is awesome! ;3 Derpy and Doctor whooves is okay I guess.

I have nothing against shipping, since I do it myself in quite a few fandoms.However, I have yet to find any pairing or characters I'd ship in MLP. May be the "innocent" part of the show that makes that. Nothing against people that do ship ponies though.

I know there was a whole episode about building this up and tearing it down, but as I was grabbing screencaps from it for a different thread, I couldn't help thinking they really do make a cute couple.

 

The OP asked that we not post stories and pictures and what not, but it's hard not to, so I'll spoiler this next part...

This was before the "love poison" (although Sir Shipsalot did add some artistic embellishment to this image, which can be disregarded for the sake of argument).

 

Now granted, the writers and animators were playing this for comedic effect. That's a given.

 

But still, as Sweetie Belle so eloquently put it: "OH COME ON!"

Mehhh, I think the straight-ships are pretty boring simply because the male characters are just so..... watery.

 

But I don't dig shippings in the first place so that must make that a very low opinion.. but I guess being someone who gets pestered on about "having to marry whoever my dad likes" in order to keep some respect just sours me on the whole subject.

 

And I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets their personal matters into their opinions lol

I don't like shipping, thus I do not have a favorite shipping. I don't see the ponies ever getting into a relationship. The only acceptable shipping is me x Twilight Sparkle.

Not a fan of shippings. The only one I find believable would be Big Mac X Fluttershy. They're both really quiet and down to earth ponies. I also don't understand why there's so many lesbian shippings or why RD is shipped with every pony.

It really isn't rocket science. Firstly, all the main characters are female, which causes most of the shippings to be lesbian too, naturally.

Yeah, but... I don't get how Rainbow Dash can be shipped with everyone... and it still manages to work. I mean, childhood friend with Fluttershy, prankster with Pinkie ect. Only Rarity seems stretched to me. And also, AJ is a tomboy too.

I will ready just about any good shipfic (And my top favorite is actually an AppleDash fic), but overall I find that I just enjoy TwiDash fics the most.
