Do you like Spiders ?

I like looking at spiders outside from a safe distance, but when they are in my room, it just got real.  I'll stop at nothing to kill that darn thing.

I hate spiders. They're just so freaky looking, and they're always watching me.

I think that some of them are kinda cute. The only thing I don't like about them is when they make a web in front of a door, and then I just walk straight into it. Other than that, I like to watch them wandering around, minding their own businesses.

The only spiders I don't like are the poisonous ones. They really bug me off.

Spiders are cool, but I hate the ones that bite and are poisonous. I would let a non-poisonous non-biting spider crawl on me. I may even want to get a Tarantula.

I got a question for all you freaky spider-lovers here, how can you tell whether a spider is dangerous (be it poisonous or damn aggressive) or not?

I don't mind them but if I notice one in my bedroom before I go to sleep at night I have to remove it before I do. I just don't like the thought of a spider crawling down my throat when I'm sleeping! :'(

Heh, anyways... all spiders are venomous, but of course some are more potent then others. But without getting too technical, unless you know your spiders there's no way to be really certain about 'em. 

 

You can try to spot characteristics of the spider. For instance, the more aggressive spiders tend to have big heads and fangs. like the Sydney Funnel Web. 

 

 

 

 

Or there's certain "warnings" on spiders that can give you a heads up. Black Widows has a red hour glass marking on their abdomen. The Brown Recluse has a violin shaped marking on it's back.

 

                                                     

 

Also, female spiders tend to be more potent and larger. Males are generally smaller and have longer legs.        

 

The spiders I posted above are some of the most venomous in the world.  

 

Sorry, I don't want to do an animal planet special or something.  The only way to make sure is to take a good look at 'em. But would you really want to inspect these fellers closely?

I grew-up on a farm and we had some of the biggest ugliest spiders you've ever seen. :'(

Also they love my blood and I get tons of spider bites (they itch T-T).

Luckily I live in the city and I only see the odd one (and they are fairly small).

I call my husband in the kill any spider I see.

I don't mind them. If I feel afraid of them in any way, I can just squash them, which sounds mean when I think about it.

 

My usual instinct when I see a bug or anything close to the size of a bug is "squash!" even when I don't feel afraid at all. I'm a bad person. ;________;

I go out of my way to NOT kill spiders, and just move them outside to my flamingo.

 

 

TL:DR; I like spiders, but I don't know if I'm ready to love again.

I'm not overly fond of the huge, freaky looking gargantuan spiders, but I think that da wittle guys are so adowable. Plus, the little ones don't do much harm, so why be afraid? The big guys, however, they could put you in the hospital depending on its type, I try not to think about it much.

Buck no; I hate them with a passion. Mainly due to a scarring even within my fillyhood. Prior to that I'd have no issue with the fiends. However; now, I can't stand any of them.... what so ever.

"NOPE!!!"  Yeah, I really, really, really, really don't like spiders in the slightest.  I never really have liked them, but I think the fact that I saw the movie "Arachnophobia" on TV when I was younger didn't help either.  I just can't stand those little buggers, they freak me the buck out!!!  Ya know what the worst part is?  My little sister always makes me kill any spider she spots, even the smallest house-spiders, because she's too freaked out to do it herself!!!  Ughhh!!!!!  *sigh*  But, I guess that comes with being a BBBFF, am I right? In conclusion, I don't like spiders, never have, never will.

Since my summer job was cleaning and maintaining public areas picking weeds and whatnot so I ether worked around a shitload of spiders or a shitload of wasps so I started to like spiders unless they were walking on my neck (Which happened around 5 times over the month I was working).

the huge spiders are less dangerous then the little ones. even more interesting is that you can mail order spiders and a brown recluse costs less then a tarantula. $8.00 for a box of death, no thanks. but hey, atleast you can see a hand sized angry spider coming towards you. the little deadly ones just creep up on you undetected. fun fun

I am not fond of spiders. The webs, the long legs, the body, the way it moves and has a fast reflex, and it's bites. It indeed scares me. However, I don't hate spiders (even though I exaggerate the word), I often like very unique, elegant looking spiders like a Garden Spider, or something of the sort.
