  1. She may have filled all sorts of roles, but Ann Margaret always kept her looks whether it be on stage or in a film. I mean... wow. Maybe I have a thing for the classic ladies, but there's no denying that she's beautiful. And if I was magically turned into a woman, I'd totally go gaga (oh god, that word) for the King, Elvis Presley. Even as a guy I have to admit, he was viciously handsome in his early days. And the fact that they even acted together... oh my. (I'm starting to feel ridiculous...)
  2. Hell yes! Bobby Darin's Mack The Knife is one of the greatest songs ever done. Hands down. Such energy and class! And who can forget about Ol' Bobby's other prominent hit? Beyond The Sea?
  3. The oldies are the only tunes for me! Lovin' this thread! I have a big love for the teen idols of the 50's & 60's. Not many seem to care 'bout 'em these days. Ricky Nelson? He's THE teen idol in my eyes. Can't forget about Dion & the Belmonts!
  4. Aw jeez, thank you! I did this in literally 2 hours and what this song did to my voice was... awful. Doing all of the packing/prepping for BronyCon drained me considerably and made my voice gravelly, which gave me the idea to pick this song. Heheh. WHY THANK YOU. I ENJOYED SINGING IT, THOUGH I MUST SAY IT WAS QUITE MERCILESS TO MY THROAT.
  5. Family Guy? :okiedokielokie: Pfffft. Knew this song since I was dropping napalm back in 2004 in this game right here: But thank you! We all need some Derpy in our days, yes?
  6. Just wanted to share a real quick thing I did right before I left for BronyCon. I honestly did it to experiment and fool around, but I ended up uploading it after the Con (I haven't done anything vocal wise since Febuary anyways) and it happened to get featured on EQU Daily and what not... Forgive me Celestia, for I have Derped.
  7. I've gotten a couple autographs over the past year, but I'm curious to see what stuff ya'll have signed! That Mane 6 poster's almost finished! All I need is Tabitha St. Germain's autograph to be satisfied... That upper left corner's so barren and lonely. (Signatures: Andrea Libman, Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Amy Keating Rodger, Lauren Faust, and Meghan McCarthy) I also have a Discord poster signed by John De Lancie, though the signature seems a little out of place for some reason.
  8. Well, besides the usual "eeeyup" and "oki doki Loki" I don't really use a lot of Brony Vocab. Though one time in class my friend told me something that prompted me to shout "WHAT THE FAUST" outloud. I've never had as many looks of confusion in my life as I had seen that day.
  9. Let's see... the guitar work, vocals, the overall sound quality has improved impressively! You sound more relaxed on the vocals this time as well. Nice Job!
  10. So quite awhile ago I decided to go to BronyCon for the second time, and my friend wanted to join me. Since I had no way to book a room (I'm 17) and his parents were going to Baltimore in the same week, I thought "sure, why not?" We got rooms booked and purchased passes, but I'm a little uneasy. My friend has absolutely no idea about anything related to MLP FIM and he doesn't want to learn anything about it. He's the kind of friend who "accepts" me as a brony but still judges me for it, particularly on the merchandise I wear. When I spoke to him about being absolutely sure about tagging along, he said "Maybe I'll learn something new." I doubt he's willing to, and he's not exactly the smartest apple of the bunch when it comes to respecting fandoms. Don't get me wrong I'm capable of handling the situation of him following me, but my fear is that he'll have absolutely nothing to do. What am I going to do with a lad who refuses to learn anything about FIM who is going to a convention that has everything to do with it? I can't just drag him around the convention and watch him be awkwardly silent the entire time. Any thoughts?
  11. Really? Your voice goes very well with this kind of style, it's lovely. I've seen more of your stuff from Youtube and sweet Celestia, that voice! The level of control in your voice just amazes me even further, especially your cover of "I've Got To Find A Way". Beautiful. I urge you to do more vocals, cause your voice is just too wonderful to pass up! MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN IN THIS COMMUNITY!
  12. Wonderful cover! I just love the melancholy tone and soft raspiness of your voice. I don't know if it's because of the reverb, but something's causing "mystical echoes" at the end of each verse that really work well with the song. The only things I would suggest is try to avoid the "frying" sort of vocal around 2:42, but you should easy be able to fix that since you did just fine with the same line earlier in the song. Also, try to avoid "extra noises" like the one going on at around 1:25, but that's something that just happens while singing so no biggy. Excellent job!
  13. Well, there is a type of apple known as "Wealthy". But what your telling us is her relations and style. Is she sweet? Mean? Pompous? What does she do best at that helped her get her cutiemark? We need personality or background!
  14. Well by choosing an apple for her cutiemark, I think you've put yourself into that position. What's does she excel at? Give your character some background, or choose a different cutie mark if it continues to bother you!
  15. I believe there's already a Golden Delicious. You should sort out her personality first or create something about the character that the name could relate to. I mean, it doesn't have to be completely related to apples.
  16. What color would she be in? What about her personality? It could help determine her name more accurately. "HoneyCrisp" or "RoseApple" are some quite feminine choices.
  17. Pretty self explanatory! This is a tribute to my favorite writer of MLP that I have worked on for quite some time. If you'd like to see the lyrics or more general info, please check the video description on Youtube!
  18. I remember literally dying when I first saw this commercial. Still gets me every time This is an Alka-Seltzer ad from 2002 Superbowl I believe. "Drop one crumb and you're dead."
  19. Nice job with the guitar! The sound's nice and clear with good picking. Now the vocals good, but it's sounds muffled. Did you compress the vocals in any way? Besides that, it's a good first vocal song. Especially since it's for Spitfire.
  20. Love the shading, though I see her coat in more of a lighter shade of blue like the paper drawing for some reason. Never the less, the colors are great! AND I MOST CERTAINLY LIKE HER MANE. Yet, I feel as if those tears aren't just one's of sadness...
  21. Jeez, Ed Edd n Eddy is my childhood! I remember running around playing as them with my brother and my cousin. Tried to carve Plank too, though he never looked as Johnny's. Funny thing is, a lot of the people who worked on Ed Edd n Eddy also work on FIM. A couple of the VA's as well. I believe Sibsy was the story board artist at the time.
  22. Oh man... My dream car would be a 1958 Plymouth Fury. Devilish looks and 1950's American iron. Considering how rare the model is, I doubt I'd ever find one. Also, CHRISTINE. Just look 'er. Looks like she's been forged from the fires of hell.
  23. ... LOVE AND TOLERANCE AT IT'S BEST. But a Brony can only take so much...
  24. WELL. Can't a guy love his critters? <_< Heh, anyways... all spiders are venomous, but of course some are more potent then others. But without getting too technical, unless you know your spiders there's no way to be really certain about 'em. You can try to spot characteristics of the spider. For instance, the more aggressive spiders tend to have big heads and fangs. like the Sydney Funnel Web. Or there's certain "warnings" on spiders that can give you a heads up. Black Widows has a red hour glass marking on their abdomen. The Brown Recluse has a violin shaped marking on it's back. Also, female spiders tend to be more potent and larger. Males are generally smaller and have longer legs. The spiders I posted above are some of the most venomous in the world. Sorry, I don't want to do an animal planet special or something. The only way to make sure is to take a good look at 'em. But would you really want to inspect these fellers closely? But would you REALLY wanna hate these little guys?
  25. I find spiders fascinating! I remember collecting spiders in jars when I was younger. Little did I know about the concept of actually feeding them... Take this video for instance. The spider is drying itself using his legs after getting wet. Not only that, it's actually pressing itself against the jeans to dry itself using the material. I find 'em adorable. Also, Spiderman's down to earth with Fluttershy. It's a fact.
