gaming Far Cry 3 thoughts?

It is probably my favorite game of 2012. The main story was long after killing vass I thought it would be near the end but there was still another chapter to go. Multiplayer eh it fun but would take other games over it (The game was built around single player so yeah.) co-op is also really fun if anyone wants to play it my gamer tag is

Just reviewed this game for my radio show and let me tell you guys this was a very refreshing experience and a good surprise for a campaign based FPS.

 

The campaign is just great, have lots of deep stuff and takes the idea of “how fare are you willing to go for your loved ones” the characters that are part of it do a great job taking you inside the atmosphere the developers wanted to and that’s the best FarCry 3 has.

 

Talking gameplay the exploration is good and almost always rewarding and not boring the game pushes you to play in stealth way but being Rambo is also possible as the game let you take the approach you want to succed in your missions that are not as generic as you may think.

 

Multiplayer is there… just there with regular vs mechanics and the cooperative campaign is also kind of meh. FarCry 3 is a campaign based FPS with  more that 30 hrs of RPV and much more if you want to discover all that is in the island, there are a lot better fps’s talking multiplayer but I can say this game has one of the best single player mode I had in this year.

 I got this game today actually and apart from the one random crash in the menu I love it!

 

So far without going into any soilers I've found all of the loot and relics around the first radio tower and I've bought one weapon and bought all the upgrades and paint jobs. Oh and I've done a few of the races. It's pretty neat and I can't wait to get back to it later.

 

Only one problem I'm seeing which is that on the Xbox 360 version which is what I'm running there is alot of screen tearing and the FPS doesn't seem to go higher than 30. And most of the time it's between 20-30. But other than that Like I said before I love it.

 

9/10 from me so far!

After 12h of playing and coming to the second island I love it so far, although the main chara seems to get a bit strange.
Loved especially the archeology missions for Buck

Oh and a game where you burn weed to this song has to be awesome xD

I've finished the entire single player campaign, killed Hoyt etc. And it is still extremely fun with co-op and multiplayer. I might start a new campaign on hard just to laugh with vaas and dennis some more, burn more weed too .

I probably may have a differant view of the mechanics when compared to others though, being a fc2 fan.
