Since we have a 3DS topic, I think we might as well have a WiiU topic. Share your news, rumors, anything you've got, just share it below.

Haven't really been following the wiiu much, bought the wii and got kinda disappointed all in all, alto i have been falling out of consoles in general the last few years, keeping to Pc :P

But what iv seen has been a mix of some interesting looking directions, and a lot of the gimics that i see in all consoles lately, with i just don't like. The whole motion control and such the wii started kinda irks me nowadays, its more focus on the "ohhh, look some fancy functioning tech" and less on the actual games, motion controls can be nifty but are far from always a great for fine control in games.

I was hesitant about the Wii U at first but once I started thinking about all of the gameplay options that the controller could bring I'm now like BRING IT ON!!!

Of course, hardware is nothing without good software.

But if the Wii U has Endless Ocean 3, Pikmin 3, and a good third-party title at launch- I'll probably end up getting it then.

Really excited for Pikmin 3. Been waiting for ever for it. I wonder how expensive the controller will be since it has a screen in it.

Everyone saying it's going to be like $100 but I really doubt it. I'm going to bet it'll be $60. By Nintendo standards, it's pretty expensive but it's not unread of since PS3 controllers cost about that much.

From what I've heard, you won't be able to buy Wii U controllers separately. I don't mind that. Besides, it'll be nice not having to buy new controllers and instead being able to reuse all the Wii stuff I already bought.

Everything in this post... it`s all true. I tried to get into the WiiU, but it didn`t appeal to me like the 3DS did when I first heard about it...

Why are you dragging your cursor over my signature? Is there a problem here? Do you maybe expect something special? Honestly, that's kind of creepy. Are you trying to get as much information about me as possible? Maybe you're going to copy and paste this into onto your little collage or all things Lyra? (me, not the awesome BG pony...) You seriously have issues dude... I pity you.

Does anypony actually like the idea of a tablet for a controller?

I try not to judge before I try... but I honestly have a very difficult time imagining myself liking that thing.

Eh, I don't see the point.

I mean...why should I buy a Wii U over an Xbox 360 or PS3?

Other than some of the games, the system is of little interest to me.

Not really... I'm not fond of Nintendo's strategy of trying to 'revolutionize' gaming with gimmicks. Motion control gaming was just a big flash in the pan. It never added anything of value to the games on the Wii for me. In fact it just made me want to play them less because the battery dies in my Wii Remote every month whether I've played it or not.

The way this is setting up is just to be a home console version of a DS. You have the regular screen (the TV) and then the touch screen (the controller). Why does Nintendo think this will be so special? I don't even get it. I just want my regular controller back.
