Daring Do: Catacombs of darkness (WiP)(game)

 Hey guys, Recently I had this idea, but I will need some help if I am going to accomplish this.

 

I'm working on a First person shooter adventure involving Daring Do, simply called: Daring Do: Catacombs of Darkness.

 

here's the story (for now):

 

Daring Do stumbled upon an ancient temple during an excavation job a few hours ago. It is nightime and she has the urge to explore what is within this mysterious temple, In the temple it is rumored that there is an artifact which dates some 800 years ago. The problem is, that once she entered the magical boundary of the ancient temple, she unleashes a dark force which is out to prevent her from getting near the artifact. 

 

as Daring Do, your job is to break through the dark forces and retrieve the artifact before you end up trapped in the dark realm...forever...

 

 

I need help deciding on what weapons daring do should use, enemy design, and some textures for the walls In the game.

im good with ideas and such,  just tell me what you have so far and ill see what i can come up with to improve upon them

 

also, is it in the style of an old school FPS? (ie duke nukem 3d, doom 3d)

Yes in fact that is the style I was aiming for, Pathways into darkness inspired the idea for this game:

 

Instead of having blood and guns though because I want this game to be mostly for kids and adults

 

I basically got the programming done, no bugs FTW!

 

all i need are mostly wall textures, sprites of dark enemies from the MLP series (you can create a design for one), and a weapon (or 3) for Daring Do to use.

well, weapons, cross bow would be a good one, give me some time, ill draw something you could use for enemies, and ill think of other stuff

It has to resemble the MLP style drawings though (sorry to add that in ), as for the enemies you can plan on some (like concept art )

well, im not the best drawing in that style but ill try it out, ill see what i can do, ill start drawing stuff when i can,  what is done about the game so far?

like I said before I just basically tested out the enemy A.I, player health, ammunition, the level to make sure the player doesn't glitch, simple coding bugs fixed
