It's a cool idea, but it won't work in the literal sense.  Even if you got 10 times your goal of 25,000 signatures, it wouldn't even account for 1% of the population.

 

And call me a skeptic, but I don't think I've seen a single one of these online petitions actually accomplish anything within the real government.  They're too easy to fake, too niche and are of little interest to the vast majority of the government's workings, and the population in general.

 

Just celebrate Hearths Warming with us!  We get it, and don't need national recognition in order to enjoy it!

No offense, but I can't take this seriously. Hearth's Warming is the MLP:FiM equivalent of Christmas. You are free to celebrate Christmas however you want, but it could never be made into a national holiday.

If this got passed as a national holiday it would be hilarious but still the chances of it ever happening are rather low.

 

Still who needs the the government to say we can celebrate hearths warming!

Sorry but I think the chances of Hearths Warming Eve becoming a national holiday is on the order of...0%.

 

However...

 

That doesn't mean that we in the brony community can't celebrate the holiday ourselves, within our community. In fact, I think it would be a good idea in that regards. Who here doesn't think it would be cool for us to have our own little holiday to celebrate with each other?

Hearths Warming a national holiday? Doesn't seem likely, but you can still celebrate it if you want.

 

I recommend that you propose a bill to a senator and see what happens. If it becomes a law I will be pretty shocked.

first: hate to break your dreams, its a cool idea and all, but like hell its going to become a national holiday espically since this is the US, we worship no one else other than "god" 

second: even if it became one, i doubt many would celebrate it being it would only be for bronies
