I'd prefer to have a pony as my companion. Personally, I'm not really a fan of the concept of transforming into a pony (and if there's a painful transformation process, I'm out). Having a pony on Earth would be awesome, along with the chance of one day going to equestria without having to transform. As for dealing with the media, I'd probably avoid it completely by keeping her mostly a secret (except to maybe a few people I trust).

 

As far as which pony I'd have join me, I'm caught between my OC Melon Drop (profile pic), one of the mane six (I'm thinking between Fluttershy, Applejack, Twilight, or Rainbow Dash), or one of the background ponies like Colgate (I'm not sure why she came to mind first).

That would be a tough choice.

I don't mind the painful process of transforming into a pony.As long as it doesn't kill me,then okay.But getting stuck on an island would kind of suck. Yeah sure there are other ponies,but I still don't feel good.Unless I get to be with the ponies from the show OR the other ponies are pretty cool(by cool I mean not acting like a jerk will be enough) then I think I'll be okay. I would wish to be a unicorn,because as someone stated,maybe I can turn myself back into human anytime I want.

Now having a pony would be pretty good too. I've actually thought of Twilight sleeping in my room and talking to her.

I'd probably want to be a unicorn because I'd probably not be able to handle keeping a real pony in my room a secret for very long, and the US government would probably "kidnap" her or something to use her in experiments.

I wouldn't mind not being in Equestria as a unicorn if I was not the only one. I wouldn't mind losing my hands either cause I could just use my mind to move stuff around. Leaving human society would be nothing for me when there would be so much to gain. I'd just discuss this with my mom and tell her that I'd be a lot happier like that and I'd probably fail at managing my life in human civilization anyways.

If I'd be a pony, I want to go to equestria, but on a isolated island on earth? I'd be tempted to use my hands. Having Fluttershy next to me for the rest of my life or any other pony (cough Derpy) It'll be pretty cool. But it'd be unconfterable to me holding onto a sentient free willed creature it's almost like having a human as a pet. I must pass, I'm no slave owner. I'd rather want to go to equestria for a few days to meet the ponies for a while, and that'd be enough.

Have a pony. The way I see it the media has the attention span of a ferret on speed. Sure there would be some unwanted attention but after the hype things would calm down.

 

Then, if the pony is OK with it, maybe do some sort of media relations scheme in order to generate some additional revenue.

I would only want to become a pony if it meant I could go to Equestria because unless I can meet rainbow dash and go to Equestria and get far far away from this wretched planet then to me becoming a pony is kinda pointless. Picking 'Have A Pony' would be separating aforementioned pony from other ponies, which would be inarguably selfish. After being told that turning into a pony would be painful, I don't know if I'd become a pony or do neither.

Be A Pony - Already, I can't choose this one, as I don't have an OC. I have an idea for what it would be, though. But even then, I would have to say no to this one. I understand not being alone, and I don't have too many friends, but I feel I have too many friends and family to just leave them.

 

But, if there was any way to convince him to transform me into Luna, then I'm game. When you can move the moon at any time you please and have the ability to cause mass destruction, people seem to do what you want.

I would totally be a pony. Sure, the transformation would be painful but I know my pain. A transformation is a simple, predetermined physical change. It'll be painful, but it'll be the right type of pain. Not to mention how much crap I could pull as a unicorn. The internet is my life, and I would not be separated from it, even though I'd need to seperate from humanity. How? Well, common equestrian magic is simply enveloped energy. It's pure energy eveloped in a semi-physical aura form. That is standard "levitation". Different envelopes, like electricity are also possible. Just about any form of energy can be mimicked. This means that I could simply scan the energy traces of a computer, a modem and use a virtual glass fibre cable (by virtual I mean just energy) in order to create a practically infinitely efficient, intangible computer. Display's not gonna be a problem. Light envelope. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

I am obsessed with EDM music, mainly dubstep. Using energy traces and the fact that magical control is directly connected to my mind, sound design would be a breeze, as I could simply record and edit the sounds I think of using a direct mind interface.

The good thing about equestria is the ponies in it.  If you tried to reconstruct a faux equestria on an island by turning escapist humans into ponies, you wouldn't even come close.  This is especially the case if you can't make flying pegasi who can control weather or magical unicorns who can of course perform magic.  And if you could do that, do you really think they would stay isolated on an island for very long?

As they say, no pain, no gain. I'll be a pony, a pegasus pony to be precise. I wouldn't necessarily abandon human society. Although it'll be almost impossible for me to play piano, I could play trombone, drums, or any other percussive instrument. It would be very easy to fly from place to place. Even though there'll be no chance whatsoever to go to Equestria, I'd be happy being a pony in the human world.
