Topic reminder.

Now, i don't know if this has already been discussed, but i would like to share with you, the thing that annoys me a little bit, and to my opinion, could use some improvement...

 

I think most of us are familiar with the little box that says "Topics i've participated in". Now, personally, i use it to follow the threads that i usually discuss in... But my problem with it, is that you can't delete the threads that are unnecessary to you. I'd really like to see a "Forget thread" option, so i could keep my list of threads clean and organised. Right now, it's full of threads that i really don't have anything to do with anymore, and whilst people still discuss in them, the topics that i discuss on, get lost and tossed around in there, and it really annoys me that i have to work through it to find them.

 

I hope i'm not the only one who would like to see this, because we all know, that one person's opinion is not enough to persuade the staff.

I totally agree mine is filled with threads I posted in weeks ago but will probably never post in again and the topics I care about keep getting hidden.

I agree. In my opinion this especially becomes an issue with topics from the Forum Games section or other active general discussion threads. The "How famous is the user above you?" topic is almost always in my top five topics I've participated in, and I posted in that topic once, several months ago.

I agree with this as well. I wish I could just get rid of those threads in my box.

I actually made a similar thread on the matter here, but it got absolutely ignored... excluding the brohoof from Feld0. My thread was a little different, of course.

 

I'm guessing such a thing is of little priority. Both of our tech admins are overly busy with things in general, so I'm skeptical anything will be done. However, it would be nice. I hate it when all I see is forum games that I hardly even like in there. It's a waste of a good feature.

I've been thinking about this for weeks now. I've actually stopped posting in threads where I don't believe I'll post multiple times just to keep that list a little more clear.

I think this will be very convenient. It'll help clear out all the unwanted threads you don't need to see. It'd make things a bit cleaner, too. 

 

It'll help out a lot, and I think that it'll be an easy thing to improve. We'll just have to wait and see. But I like your idea, and I agree!

You guys do realize there is a "follow topic" option on the top right corner of each topic? It may not be what your thinking of, but you can turn on or off notifications and then go to the list of your topics your following. This can be the White list that doesn't Hide topics from you. Then when your done just un-follow the topic, the thread is gone! Magic
