The Crimson Cross 7,532 August 22, 2014 Share August 22, 2014 (edited) I haven't played many games in my days, but I've played Minecraft, and that moment when you're sitting in a dark room and a skeleton shoots an arrow at you.. Man.. All I can do is jump out of my skin. *Twang* Scariest thing ever. Edited August 22, 2014 by The Crimson Cross Now with more added tea leaves! Panne 1,342 August 22, 2014 Share August 22, 2014 (edited) I haven't played many games in my days, but I've played Minecraft, and that moment when you're sitting in a dark room and a skeleton shoots an arrow at you.. Man.. All I can do is jump out of my skin. *Twang* Scariest thing ever. Climbing a ladder while arrows whizz by your face. Then that one fateful strike happens and you plummet to your doom at the hands of the zombies bellow... I know your fear of skeletons man. Thunderstreak 136 August 22, 2014 Share August 22, 2014 I'm not much of a gamer, but Slenderman really scared me a few years back. Mainly because I brought my laptop into a forest and played it in the middle of the night.... o_o
Splashee 28,566 September 22, 2020 Share September 22, 2020 The scariest game for me was called Night Trap for the Sega CD. That messed me up, to the point I decided I wanted to be a vampire so that the game would hurt me
Cash In 22,519 September 23, 2020 Share September 23, 2020 (edited) I don't usually go out of my way to play scary games, but Queen Vanessa's Manor in A Hat in Time is probably the most freaked out I've ever gotten in a game. The developers actually hid a secret in the basement which lets you skip the entire section, but I didn't know that until after I finished the game. Edited October 17, 2020 by Cash In At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
Vefka 1,499 September 23, 2020 Share September 23, 2020 I'd say The Small Horse, it's the weirdest mod on Amnesia (with ponies). It meant to be funny and random (I guess), but actually it's frightening. Games like Outlast, fnaf, Resident Evil, etc try to be scare and they are predictable because of this, The Small Horse is very unsettling because of mixed randomness and horror, you just don't understand what's happening and it scares you
