Episode: Winter Wrap Up - I relate to her so much in this episode. Plus there was an awesome song and Twilight saved the day in the end.

 

Alicorn/Princess: Princess = Yes, Alicorn = No

 

Song: A True, True Friend - Not a solo Twilight song but it was still hers more than anypony else, and it was just great.

Am I against Twilight Sparkle being an alicorn/princess?

 

Of course not! ^^

 

Honestly, I was a little tiny bit at the beginning (but this was before I adopted her as my favorite. ^^"), but really when I watched the episode (and felt the infinite feels that about never ended), I loved it. Twilight Sparkle is a born leader, and an amazing one at that. The wings are just an upgrade, you know? ^^ I love it. Now she can be adorkable while flying. It's like...the adorkableness has been doubled! ^^ <3

 

Now, for my favorite song sang by Twilight Sparkle, easily Love is in Bloom. The most beautiful of beautiful songs. ^^

 

And I LOVE the Avaitors (with YellingAtCats) version of it.

 

I love her singing voice! Makes me squee soooooo hard! ^^

She's no longer my absolute favorite, but she's still got a lot to love about her.  Both neurotic and level-headed, snarky and sympathetic, and of course, so smart, bookish, and scholarly, she's who I am in my mind and thus has a special place in my heart.  To top it off, I've consistently liked most of the episodes in which she plays a/the principal role (except for the pilot episodes and maybe the Crystal Empire two-parter, but not because of Twilight, she was great there   .)

 

Besides, I can't argue with a princess who we know got her title by merit.  And though she may not be Celestia's student on friendship, she's still learning about it, and that's all I ask from her.  (I just sort of wish that she was a little more awkward with the friendship thing now like she was earlier, but hay, characters have to develop!)

 

Oh, and have a cute (though sad) filly Twilight.
