A million reasons why I love this character (no offense but I'd rather date Twilight than any human girl):

 

Her personality

 

The fact that she's a faithful student

 

How she handles her situations (both personal and with her friends)

 

How she felt about becoming a princess

 

Her face (SO CUTE)

 

Her voice (the one, the queen of bronies, TARA STRONG!)

 

Just everything about her reflects me. Now I am a huge JDM fan but if you give me a 2004 WRX STi (my new dream car), I will squeal, maybe jump a little, and say thank you ten times. But if you give me an accurate life-size Twilight Sparkle plushie, I will cry, jump up and down 20 times, and hug you three times, then cry again and hug the plushie for half an hour straight.

 

And I am happy for Alicorn Twilight. I do not prefer one over the other. Simply attaining wings was a natural development for the character IMO.
