Im a pessimist at heart... now im convinced that this will happen... 

 

To be serious, i doubt that if they will stick to the 25 episodes per season format a season three will happen again. Season three was just too short, some characters where thrown under the bus. That should just not happen, it is of no importance which character is affected (even though it would hurt me the most if it was Rarity).

 

I try to imagine that there will be many great and funny moments with my favorite blue eyed unicorn in the next season... I have hope after this one!

I know you don't go to Equestria Daily anymore (for totally understandable reasons) but it was confirmed that Season 5 will be a full season

Also, I don't think there will be *too* many problematic episodes for Rarity, and if the haters get ammunition, it shouldn't be too difficult to starve them because we all know that they're wrong

People find some sort of pleasure in feeling hatred; a release from their own problems. That's why there's such things as bullying, war, crime, etc. It's selfish, really.

I feel plenty of hatred too, hatred of myself, and i take it out on myself. I don't really want to make people feel miserable just because im miserable. Sometimes it does happen, that i get rude, or something like that, never more. And i immediately feel bad about it.

 

But the concentrated, precise, burning hatred that some have? Why would i ever want to let other beings be a target of that? Why would i feel better if i made someone else miserable? I have been heavily bullied in my whole school time, but i never became like them, never. I will also never understand their mindset i guess.

It could be because they feel inferior and are looking for a way to prove otherwise; it could be that they feel threatened; it could be that they get a thrill from "showing who's boss," something akin to sadomasochism.

For everyone worrying about the writers possibly deciding to give Rarity the short end of the stick in season 5...

 

Don't. There was never supposed to be a "season 3" the way everyone here refers to it. Spike At Your Service was supposed to be the Rarity episode (or rather, the Sparity episode), but they shifted it to AJ mid-stream because reasons.

 

And honestly? The way most people talk about that episode, maybe that was for the best.

 

Take 26 episodes, subtract 2 for the premiere and 2 for the finale and figure on two more "group" episodes, and we're left with 20 to spread around. Rarity will be the central focus of at LEAST two of those episodes. Maybe three. Book it.
