I remember Rarity Takes Manehattan was met with overwhelming positivity It was AMAZING - and I felt so happy to see the tides begin to turn

 

Simple Ways, I had to do a bit of defending - but not too much. Trenderhoof was a bad character, though, and I made sure to point that out at every opportunity

 

The one I remember being really scared for was "For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils," because the pictures the Hub released were really disconcerting - of course, that worry ended up being for nothing, and the one Rarity hater who showed up pretty much got laughed out of the topic

People criticize manehattan for pacing issues, because Fashion Week takes a week and they were only there for a few days.

 

But that misses the point, Rarity was submitting her designs for Fashion Week which was upcoming, so only having a few days to submit these designs (as they would want them in advance) makes sense.

 

Do you guys see what I'm saying, I realize I'm putting it rather obtusely.

 

 

My question is, does it tell the story it needed to tell in the right amount of time?  Yes it does.  You needed to set up the basic situation, reinforce the generosity, have Suri take advantage of said generosity, Rarity go overboard as a result, then realize what she did wrong, and thus teach Coco Pommel a new lesson about giving towards others. I think it's rather well paced, actually.
