As far as i remember there was a rumor in the period between season three and four that there was supposedly going to be a duet between the two in an season four episode. Turned out the be false as we know now...

 

A shame really.  I really like Octavias design, and i think a great designed pony like that would deserve some character building. And a duet with best pone Wawity would have been even better.

People usually relate to their best pony - while this isn't always the case, it certainly appears to be in the majority in the fandom

 

So, do you relate to Rarity in any way? And, if so, what way?

 

I actually do - I can be a bit melodramatic at times, but I'm also very passionate about the things I do and I'm an artist at heart. Not trying to brag, but I also do give quite a bit - I've bought commissions for people in the past and I consistently donate my money to this site. I also have a desire to climb to the top of the social ladder and I'm a bit of an extrovert as well, and one thing we both seem to have is trouble dealing with little kids I can't do that, man. I do tend to lack some of the more formal aspects she has, such as the vocabulary she uses and without a doubt the accent (I do have a broad vocabulary, but in a different way than her, but my accent is almost exactly like AJ's Southerner, man.) But I do relate to the majority of her character

Well, a thing in which i cannot relate to Rarity is that im in no way a melodramatic drama queen... Right?

 

People often say about me that i have a pretty extensive vocabulary and that i can express myself well. Don't know if thats true. I don't really care too much about my appearance and fancy clothing. so that is something i and the gorgous one don't have in commen. Im also ugly as sin which is the opposite of Rarity too...

I would love to be artistic... I just don't have the talent. i greatly admire people that do though.

My accent is that of a hessian german... nothing what i would call fancy.

Rarity is extroverted and charming, the first one im clearly not and the second one too is doubtful...

 

I would say i don't relate too much to her. But that is of no concern for me. I find her character to be highly desirable even though im not really much like her. Sadly i would say.

Rarity and I?

 

1) We love being a bit stylish (often the wild Cstriker is seen with product in his hair when in his natural environment [insert David Attenburough voice]).

 

2) I can be dramatic. Definately.

 

3) I LOVE the finer things. Art, Jazz, Classical, the opera and orchestra, enjoy musicals (current fav? Music man or Man of Le Mancha), Bourbon and wine, fine food (current fav? Crab cakes or braised lamb shank with chutney). Love a good cigar too!

 

4) Generousness? I do give of my time often to those when need it, I sacrifice for my family and loved ones daily, I even arranged to fly myself and some of my closest friends to fly to Las Vegas in 2 weeks!

 

I do relate to her a bit, but from a male side as dresses don't do it for me when I wear them...not my thing I guess. My vocabulary is large. Being articulate is seemingly a diminishing art amongst the world of social media and slang. I piss off my boss with that vocabulary and am told to tone down my reports often enough! But alas, sometimes it sucks having a large vocabulary that I can't use around my half retarded coworkers. I tend to be fanciful in my thinking and dreaming, and I am currently putting my passions into my first novel I am writting, and finishing my second degree. I do love music so much, I am a saxophone player and a great lover of Jazz as aforementioned above, and my passions certainly do show through that!

 

In all things, we strive to be as fabulous as our Lady Rarity!
