Rarity hate has always been the stupidest thing, imo  :okiedokielokie: 

 

But, it's also had a huge drop-off as of late. I don't see nearly as much Rarity hate as I used to, and even EQD and all of their pony-bashing stupidity has given her nothing but praise as of late; I talk almost nightly with a good friend of mine who's been around for a while over Skype, and he's told me himself he's not used to seeing Rarity get all of this love   It's a great thing, eh?

 

I keep looking around and seeing a lot of Rarity fans and AJ fans now; I honestly don't think they're the back 2 anymore. I barely see Fluttershy fans or Pinkie fans anymore, and trust me, I live on Brony-based sites   All I do anymore is hang around this fandom and what not, and I gotta say, Rarity is not with AJ at the back, but they're duking it out for 3rd and 4th most popular ponies at this point. 

 

Funny momentum shift, if you ask me

 

I feel sorta bad for Flutters, though; I think she's been the punching bag as of late, from my experiences around the Brony-net.

As usual, I'm glad the tides have turned and that applejack but mainky Rarity finally have their spotlight for others to enjoy!

 

The hate while silly, is just another thing I won't properly understand over the years to come.

 

However, be as it may, while fluttershy may be he new dropout, just like anypony with of course rarity being he highest, I'm sure she'll earn her greatest spotlight.

 

That, and I haven't seen any massive hate for her, or I just don't see it, still, rarity had it similar back then, so who knows!

I have to agree. They are great friends. I love how supportive Rarity was in Filli Vanilli. I know Dash is supportive, but not in the same way Rarity is.

What many don't realize is just how great she is in this episode, no one mentions it! For me,that episode was,and is one of my favourite of all the series.

 

No matter how underrated it is..it always keep a special place on my heart

 

Specially when Rarity suffers her mental breakdown.That moment was the thing who hooked me to MLP

The episode WAS overhated,but now i see too how the people is starting to see the good side of Rarity,with her acts of generosity(and her funny moments,which surpasses any other funny moment on the series if you catch them correctly)

suited for success was a great episode, but sweet and elite will always be my favorite mostly because it was very entertaining and I just liked the song too much (what? I like pop music the most XD)

However, suited for success was the episode that highlighted Rarity and her element for me, in a way I can totally feel related (even if at the time Fluttershy was my favorite pony with Rarity in a very close second), sadly it didn't work well with the fandom.

 

If you notice, in the past, Rarity's generous acts where executed by self sacrifice instead of easily applying the literal significance of the word generosity. That wasn't enough for the fandom apparently :v they literally needed something like Rarity takes Manehattan to realize how generous Rarity is :v

 

Also, I haven't realized what a gem suited for success was until I saw this review, please check it out if you haven't. Me, as an artist I can relate to this analysis, I was blown away with how accurate it is.

Again, I must disgress on your thoughts on how abundant and widespread Rarity hate is. Even at it's peak, it still wasn't every little thing she did. Dude, it gets bad and raunchy, but it isn't common enough to be constantly fidgeting over, nor was it ever

 

If you looked at the Rarity hate, even at it's prime, it was amazingly  dumb and easy to dissect, given the show itself was watched instead of the screen it played on.

 

i also saw little to no complaints about Suited for Success; some call it her best performance.

I agree, most haters seemed to pass and ignore her highlight episode of season 1 and go on her appearances as secondary character or her perfomance in dog and a pony show.

 

they always came with the usual:

 

'she's vain'

'she's a greedy bitch'

'she's arrogant and cocky'

'she's manipulative'

 

did I said she was called a bitch?

 

I remember an user that said in a thread that most male fans felt threatened by Rarity's empowering female figure in the show, while Fluttershy is pretty femenine, she's like the cute and tender type of female males wants to protect and take care of.

Rarity displays a strong female figure that clashes with most bronies masculinities.

I really liked this and totally makes sense if you ask me.

You know? I'm starting to think out of everyone, I must have had the hardest time liking Rarity is times have changes drastically since I've last seen this much attention gained to her. 

 

It could be that, but I guess that was my time, however, no joke, I do love this episode very much, most seem to hate it for the small reasons like rarity's acting, (which they always do unfortunately...) and the pointless episode in general. But I always loved it!

 

The music, the lesson, her goal achieved when her friends helped her out and used her previous designs for the fashion show? It's an excellent episode!

 

Once again, I'm glad Rarity's time has arrived for fame and attention, but looking at it, I do think I may have had it the hardest if I went through many tough times of others bashing on rarity 24/7, but it could be just me.

That fact states a good point about her.

Per example,FS is the more feminine of the main 6,but no one says nothing about that.

No...all the hate to rarity,and why?

Because their main argument(true fact,happened to me once) is:

-FS is cute,rarity not.FS is good,Rarity is a Bitch.FS is kind,Rarity manipulates others

So he's saying that because FS is cute and kind,all the hate goes to Rarity -_-

 

If you saw,per example,suited for sucess,you'll see:

-Rarity doesn't manipulate anypony(she does all the work alone,without help)

-Rarity is NOT a bitch,she shows true generosity(She does all the dresses for her friends,even if she doesn't like them)

-And over all,Rarity's cuteness(well,on that episode and all )

 

What i'm saying is that A dog and a pony show created even more stereotypes of rarity(bitch,manipulative),and the haters are all with that mentality,without watching how many good things has she done for everypony(except spike in certain ocassions,but that's another story)

Rarity's theme is SOOOOOO good! And I don't even really like this kind of music, though; I'm sorta glad that they went this route instead of some fancy, baroque-type song; even though that's "more fitting," most of the fan music made for her has that "fancy, high class" feel. 

 

I think this accomplishes maintaining that fancy feel while being a refreshing change of pace from most of her fan music (even though this was meant to be in a game in the first place  )

Ooh I love that! It's just so nice to have it playing in the background while I'm doing other things around the web. I've listened to all of their themes, and I can say without a doubt that Rarity's is my favourite.

oh yes I have, I still remember the fond days when fighting is magic seemed to be a dream come true (because I super enjoy fighting games)

Rarity's theme is the best by far, and it suits her very well, even if it is dubstep kind of music. It's classy but loud, it's elegant but fast, strong and powerful. I love it!

So I was listening to "Becoming Popular", because Rarity's singing voice is just so

 

But I noticed something I hadn't before. At the 1:19 mark, Rarity is sending off some kind of airship with Prince Blueblood. Does anyone else find it strange that she would even interact with him at all?
