You know back when I was hating Rarity, Sonic Rainboom was actually the only episode I watched in full, but then I watched Sisterhooves social with my kid, and I did an about turn. LONG LIVE RARITY!

I just love that laugh, right up there with Chrysalis's. Best 2 second clip ever made (love the blank stare on Twi's and AJ's face at the end too, priceless).

I actually thought Sonic Rainboom was pretty great. It might not be the best episode if you're trying to make people sympathetic to Rarity, but I think she's still pretty funny even when she isn't on her best behavior.

 

Plus, she started out with very noble intentions. Things just went awry...

Actually, I have the MLP: FiM soundboard app on my phone and I have access to a lot of her quotes I use that very laugh as an alarm on Saturday mornings so I can remember to wake up and catch the new episode

That gem-finding ability is something that she can use to aid her in her personal life as well as her career, but I gotta say, fashion is certainly her true calling

But with the whole fashionista stereotype, you have to watch a few episodes to really get to Rarity's true personality, a lot of people, including me, make up our minds instantly. It's only because I have a Rarity fan in the household that I changed my mind!

If one were to actually watch the show and look past the stereotypes a fashionista holds, it wouldn't be too hard to see why she breaks all of them

Well...I GUESS I could show all of you my collection of Rarity merch

This isn't really much to get excited about...just a shiny card and a pic my friend drew for me

 

If you look below, though, you can see a picture of me from when I was still sort of chubby, at the age of about 14 I've lost a lot of weight since then; around 30 pounds. My diet really got strict once my heart took a sharp downturn about halfway between 15 & 16.

The guitar was my dad's before he passed away a few years ago; the bass is something my friend gave me because he didn't want it.

 

I had to slap some Rarity stickers on them ASAP. Make them fabulous, y'know?
