They liked the sound of it better, but honestly, I hate it. When people call my first name, it takes a while for me to respond. I'd change my name to Freya. For as much as I like the name Artemis, I chose it here for similarities I found between myself and Artemis Entreri, not because I'd want it to be my name. However, I've found myself having to make a conscious effort irl not to introduce myself as that, because most of the people I talk to these days are brony friends who know me better by that name. At this point I guess it would feel natural. Edgar has always held a certain appeal to me. Sounds more... sophisticated? I don't know.
