Good luck to Twilight and Applejack, regardless. The suspense is killing me on the second one. Derpy and AJ are so close...

Okay, since I didn't specifically announce a time that votes were going to be tallied for AJ vs. Derpy, the default action is to take the results when I get around to updating the next round when happens to be right now.

 

So under that ruling, APPLEJACK WINS 52-50

 

Thanks for those who sent me messages at 9:00 but like I said, I didn't specify a tally time for this matchup because quite frankly I thought AJ was gonna pull away with it lol. She was up 10 when I left the house.

*sniff* I'm not gonna lie everypony, this loss hurt.  BUT, and this is a big but, that does not mean that any of us who voted for Derpy should feel bad in the slightest.  We put up the absolutely best effort that we could, against a Mane 6 pony no less, and almost, ALMOST, pulled off a major upset.  So, although Derpy Hooves now heads home to her Doctor and Dinky, she heads home with her head held high!   To everpony who voted for Applejack, congratulations; I tip my hat off to you.  That was a fantastic match-up, and I wouldn't have had Derpy lose any other way.  It's an honor to lose so closely to a pony as awesome as Applejack! 

 

Now, how should we proceed in this tournament?  Simple.  In order to ensure that Derpy's loss is as absolutely honorable as possible, we must ensure that she only ended up losing to the ultimate champion of this tournament.  That's right everypony... let us join forces with Applejack's supporters.  That tough ol' earth pony proved that she's more than worthy of winning this tournament after such a tough-fought win over such a beloved character.  So, Derp Brigade, let us throw our weight behind her, combine forces with the Applejack Corps, and overthrow the Sparkle Empire next round!  TWILIGHT, YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Doubt it. Knowing her, I wouldn't be surprised that Derpy's holding her head high, knowing that she refused to give up, even till the very end. She may've lost this round, but she'll still be forever best pony!

 

Now for the new poll, Fluttershy will likely be my most favorite pony now and forever, but she isn't the higher quality pony here. Luna is. Her color scheme is beautiful, and she's inherently flawed with a complex, sad backstory. She's not my most favorite princess, but she's best princess. So my vote goes to Luna.

 

Now, popular antagonist versus the little orange chicken. Discord and Scootaloo are fantastic characters. Discord, I may love you more than Scoots, but for this round, Scootaloo wins for the severe growth in her character that is desperately needed, one that's done so grandly.

Third best pony pulled it out! I knew it would happen all along!

 

 

Let's hope she has enough momentum to take down Twilight too. Then we could end up having an Ashleigh Ball battle in the Final Four if Dashie can beat Celestia. Then you all could see my titanic duel with Clarity and Stellafera . 

 

This round is mean. My 5th favorite vs. my 6th and my 7th vs. my 9th. Mean. I voted Scoots and Luna, although I wouldn't be too burned up if Discord and Flutters win. They deserve it too

 

This uncomfortable decision makes me realize just how weak Pinkie's division is. Each other division has about three characters that I think could actually win the whole East Section. Hm.

I sure hope so. Try and gather up enough Derpy lovers who won't pick Twilight. I'd LOVE to see AJ make it to the final four myself. But, if she could barely beat Derpy, then Twilight is going to be a huge challenge. And if by some stroke of luck she beats Twilight, she'll get annihilated by Dashie, but I'm okay with that too.

Ahem, forgetting someone are we?*points to Applejack avatar* Twilight may literally be tied with Applejack as well as Luna for my favorite but if it between anypony vs Applejack then I am going Applejack because of the simple fact that she is most underrated pony ever and could use a bit more love. Applejack vs Rainbow Dash would be very interesting indeed though, sometimes I wonder who has the most loyal fans of the two yes Rainbow Dash has more but she also has her share of haters so there is no telling which way that could go.

That battle was nuts! It looked like AJ was going to pull it off with a bit of breathing room, until another ~25 votes came out of nowhere.

I shall continue to support Applejack in the next battle, but it's going to take a miracle to beat the main character. Good luck in advance to both sides of that fight.

Anyway, this round... Discord is better than Scootaloo, 'nuff said. If she was just a little more fleshed out I might have considered her.

Fluttershy vs Luna... 2nd best pony vs one of the most overrated side characters I've ever seen in anything? Yep, gotta go with Fluttershy, if Rarity can't win then maybe she can, hopefully. To arms!

Oh boy, this round... this round is going to be tough for me to decide.  For Discord vs. Scootaloo, I gotta ultimately go with Discord; I love Scoots and all, but she's still the least developed of the CMC (not counting Babs), and Discord is possibly the greatest troll in all of Equestria.  Point goes to Discord! 

 

 

Now, the really tough decision for me here is Fluttershy vs. Princess Luna!  Gosh dang, I love Fluttershy, I really, really do, so very much, but... gosh dang, do I love Princess Luna.  Maybe it's just because I have a soft spot for underdogs in this tourney, but dang it, Luna's been my favorite princess for the longest time, is such a complex and adorkable character, and has such an absolutely gorgeous character design that, Fluttershy, I'm so very sorry, but I gotta go with Luna on this one!  PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME THE STARE!!!!!!

Rarity is definitely awesome, and I am sorry to see she was the first Mane Six character to get knocked off, but she did very well in spite of that. Losing to Rainbow Dash is an easy thing to do around these parts. She gave it a good fight, and should be proud.

 

 

Not like I'm trying to butter up the Rarity lovers to vote for AJ in the next round or anything. Nope. Not at all.
