gaming Games you want to see get a sequel

I would like sequels for:

Megaman Legends -- seriously capcom

Phantom Brave -- I know this game is pretty niche but what I wouldn't give for its sequel.

Custom Robo -- Maybe it's just nostalgia but I loved this game especially the combat

Prinny -- Yes a Prinny 3 just as tough as the first 2 and hopefully crazier too. They're recently more favorite platformers.

Dissidia Final Fantasy -- Standard sequel affair; more characters and storyline. This series got really experimental with the combat system but it works pretty well.

All of these games are nice, yeah, I can't think of anyone who's played this one and doesn't want a sequel more than Genghis Khan wanted China:

Elite Beat Agents.  One of the best rhythm games ever made, but with a pitiful 18 songs to show for it.  Now that there are 2 consoles that it would work incredibly well with, plus the potential for DLC songs (which aren't usually worth it in rhythm games, but totally would be in this case), it makes it even more infuriating that we can't have more.

Oh, and Half-Life 3.  If you could go ahead and hurry up with that one, Valve, we'd really appreciate it.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

Pokémon Snap. That game was kind of weird and is very old, but it was great and is one of the few things that could take serious advantage of the Wii U (or even the 3DS if they prefer).

TWEWY. They had always wanted to make a sequel, the iOS port (which I never played because apparently iPod Touch doesn't count...) had something that seemed like an obvious hint at the end, and the main character showed up in the most recent Kingdom Hearts game (which almost made me want to buy it... Maybe used or something) all of which indicate that the chances are decent and I really hope they do something good with it.

I'd like to see Star Wars Battlefront 3. I mean with thee new movies about to come out it would be a great time to make a proper sequel to the last Battlefront. But as far as I know the developer of the first two, Paramedic, went bankrupt or something so they would have to get a new developer. But which one you ask? High Moon Studios, the guys who made Transformers: War for Cyberton, and Fall of Cybertron, and the guys are are making the Deadpool game. The reason I pick them is because, aside from being able to make damn good 3rd person shooters, the seem to know who to stay fateful to the source materiel. Seriously War and Fall of Cybertron have tons of fan service and almost feel like really cool episodes of the show.

That would actually be a really good studio to make a Battlefront 3. What's more is the Cybertron games are actually used as canon for Transformers Prime, even if the characters did get a much needed reskin for Prime.

Hmph, Midnight club LA was a great racing game and the series could of gone even father, though Rockstar pulled the plug for the series. It is a shame, I would of loved another Midnight club game :/

For simplicity's sake, I'm only gonna name games which are not already confirmed to be in development. So, that means Last Light and Dragon Age 3 are gonna be AWOL.

1. Star Wars: Battlefront 3

2. Star Wars: Imperial Commando (Republic Commando 2)

3. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3

4. Star Wars: Jedi Knight 4 (Or Dark Forces 6. The numbering is complicated in that series.)

5. Mass Effect 4 (Or a prequel. I just want more Mass Effect.)

6. Alpha Protocol 2 (I consider Alpha Protocol to be the most criminally underrated game ever made. It desperately needs a sequel.)

7. Fallout 4

8. Homefront 2 (Yeah, Homefront wasn't the best game, but I'm still glad I played it.)

9. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 3

10. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory 2 (Chaos Theory is like the Matrix. There are no damn sequels. I'd much rather have a proper Splinter Cell game than whatever it is Ubisoft's cooking up in their shop of horrors right now.)

11. Welcome to Ponyville: Act 2

Amoral cynic with a bitchin' vocabulary.

Check out A Century of Song if you like music from before this millennium.

Beyond Good and Evil, Ubisoft keep teasing that there's going to be a sequel but they've been doing that for about 12 years now. Another great one would be System Shock 2, Bioshock was considered its spiritual successor but I want to see the actual thing.

Digimon Rumble Arena, two games for it, one on Ps1 and one on Ps2. Needs a sequel with EVERY DIGIMON BEFORE EXCEPT FOR THE FUSION SERIES.

Shinobido. 2. A real sequel, not the nonsense that came out for psp or psv.

5. Mass Effect 4 (Or a prequel. I just want more Mass Effect.)

New Vegas: There's been rumours about New Vegas 2(or whatever the name of the sequel to New Vegas'd be). I am not 100% sure on the validity of where I've heard from, but it basically said that the only reason there isn't much surfacing about a sequel to NV is because of the new consoles. I've also heard it might be in LA, which is basically in my backyard. So, if that comes to be a truth, I won't be able to hold my excitement.

I read an article where the CEO of Obsidian actually said the only reason they've not started on Fallout LA is because they're waiting for the next gen consoles to come out so they know what their limitations are.

STALKER: Roadside Picnic was an amazing book, Stalker was a great film, and STALKER was an amazing series. I loved SoC and CS, and I couldn't get over CoP. I can't put into words how much I loved CoP. Other than its broken multiplayer, it was amazing. Too bad STALKER 2 isn't happening.

Ah but Stalker did get a sequel, well sort of they did release STALKER Clear Sky, it was a prequel but still...

and agreed the book Roadside Picnic is a underrated classic.

Metro 2033: I absolutely loved both the game and the book. Not sure what is going to happen with Last Light, though. What with it supposed to be published by an entirely new company, that company closing its doors, then Deep Silver stepping in, I don't know how it'll turn out. I still can't wait for it, and hopefully it'll release on May 14th!

You and me both! Although I've not read the book, just can't seem to get hold of a english translation.

That is the article I was referring to, actually. Still, though, can never be sure.

There were 2 STALKERs that came after Shadow of Chernobyl: Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat. However, even after playing those, one is often still STALKER-hungry. GSC was going to make STALKER 2, but they ended up closing their doors. It's too bad, though, with the latest STALKER that got made, Call of Pripyat, it seemed like they got everything right and wildly improved the game from the previous 2. Except for the story, the story wasn't very incredible, but it wasn't really supposed to be.

If you read the book, the game is going to seem like a load of crap to you. But, anyway, I actually went to a European online book store, and ordered it off of that. It took awhile to get here, hah. And, I just had to dig a little bit, but I finally found the link to the site I ordered it at; here it is:

I didn't finish Broken Steel, but I'm hoping they'll make a sequel to Fallout 3. I  heard Fallout 4 is gonna be in either Philly or Boston, so it may be a continuation of whatever happened with the Brotherhood and the Enclave over there.

Fallout New Vegas was decent, and I hope they make another game placed in the west based off of the stories in 1,2, NV, Tactics, etc.

I can't really think of anything else. I don't usually keep up with older series(es?) from PS1 or N64. Probably should play every Spyro after number 3 though...

Obligatory Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Obligatory Knights of the Old Republic 3. Obligatory Firefly.

Golden Sun needs another game. And I don't mean I want another game, it NEEDS another game. Dark Dawn ended on a giant cliffhanger:

you come back to your house after saving world, and your family is nowhere to be found, and there is a giant vortex of dark magic hovering over your house. Then it says "to be continued".

But Camelot has said they're not sure if they'll make a new one, because they don't know of fans want it enough. Which to me sounds like "We don't know if enough people will buy it." :/

Advent Rising, although I think the story was intended to be open ended like that, so maybe not.

Castlevania that isn't Lords of Shadow. They said that LoS was made because the CV timeline was cluttered, but there are still gaps in it where things were said to happen that don't have games (Battle of 1999, in which Dracula actually DIED, setting up Aria and Dawn of Sorrow, I'm looking at you :(). I was so happy when a new 2D CV was being made for 3DS, but it just had to be a LoS game :(

I'd like a sequel to Area 51 (Are there any threads I can't post this in?)

And no, I don't count Black Site as a sequel because it features different aliens, different characters, does not feature the actual place Area 51, and generally has an entirely different style of gameplay.

_____

I'd also like for Half Life: Opposing Force to get a sequel.
