Hip Hop: TobyMac.

Rap: MC Hammer (I only enjoy rap from the time before singing like Stevie Kenarban was a part of the style.)

Electronic: Makkon and Aviators.

Hard Rock: Skillet.

My mom and her sister (who helped raise me) are both BIG Elton John fans, so I grew up listening to him. Crocodile Rock, The Bitch is Back, Rocket Man, Benny and the Jets. Amazing artist. The Dear Hunter did a really good cover of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, too.

My #1 band is Muse. Bought all their albums physically so I have a collection and I saw them live twice within the same tour (March 2010 in Detroit and October 2010 in Columbus)

 

Then in no particular order are the others I quite enjoy:

System of a Down, Killswitch Engage, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, and Beastie Boys

and to a minor extent but still enough to warrant being listed Iron Maiden and Judas Priest

I like many different ones most of them either really old or dead like Beethoven, Bach, George Gershwin, Ray Charles, Dave Brubek, Jelly Roll Morton, Miles Davis, John Coltrane. As for the newer ones I occasionally run into a song that I like but for the most part I think music and entertainment in general has really gone down the toilet in these last 20 years, it is not that there aren't any people with talent it is that the people with talent are not being given the respect and recognition they deserve.

My favorite musician is definitely Weird Al. Favorite band? Probably Linkin Park. I like a lot of brony musicians too, though, like Wooden Toaster and Mic The Microphone.
