So I've been wanting to read some fan fictions, but most of the ones on the featured page on fimfic either aren't appealing to me, or I've read them already. So if you have fanfics you want me to read, feel free. I'm open to just about anything.So go ahead! Send 'em in. I'll give you my review of it after I read the first chapter and give you any advice I can.

So I read both the fics. The Arrival was good, but I'm a little lost on where you wanted to go with it. As a reader, I'm confused, as a writer, I see that you're setting something up. A conflict with parents maybe? I'm interested to see where it ends up at. I'm absolutely in love with "The Sweetest Gem." I can see why it's a favorite.

One thing that really bugged me while reading it was that each new paragraph wasn't indented. It hurt my eyes while trying to read. And I feel like you rushed into the main plot a little too quickly. As a reader, I'm confused to where I don't want to continue. But, as a writer, I understand things can get confusing until future chapters are released. But the idea of the story is great. I just feel like it could be sectioned better and have a tighter knit plot line and story complex. I'll keep an eye on it though to see where it heads out.

You're giving individual feedback on specific members' fanfics; that's artistic assistance more than it is discussion, thus it belongs here, more than it does Sugarcube. Feel free to change your title to whatever you want, OP, via editing your first post in the Full Edit page. I simply put a placeholder name for what I believe this topic is at its' basic roots.

 

I'm not a fan if clop fics, but if you have a story that has a story line in it and a sex scene, I'll give it a shot. (Trying to be open to all ponies) but don't send in something that's just sex.

Ok. Thanks for doing that. I'll fix the description of the thread in my original post. And about the NSFW thing, I know there was a warning thing about it, but I wasn't quiet sure how that worked for fanfics that were just links, so to be safe I put that in there. Thank you again!

I have a fanfic for you to review! It's a sad, adventure, sci-fi, OC pony fic set in the far, far future. So far I've posted about the first half of it on fimfic, but the entire fic has been written (the version on fimfic is like the 7th or 8th draft).
