NightMare Moon

Ugh..Hello Everypony and..welcome I guess..I felt very sad drawing her. There are two reasons for it:

1) It turned out not as I wanted it to turn out)

2) Nightmare Moon..I was so sad when she got banished in the 1st season. She maybe had something bad in mind, but she was given a good reason to feel that way. I mean, her life, her purpose was to raise the moon, but nopony could see the night, everypony slept, and her efforts were visible for herself only..I don't know how you feel about that, but I think she deserves better then just be banished..I know that she appears later as Luna, and she feels sorry for her deeds..even though she doesn't have to, it wasn't her fault! Imagine How lonely she must've been all that time, every night. 

 

Anyway..here is my drawing, I hope you like it, even though it's quiet inaccurate, I hope you guys like Nightmare Moon as much as I do.

Hey, don't bash yourself too much, It's actually pretty great! I like it you got her features down like her whole body!

 

I will have to say the wings are a bit too similar to that of a hawk or eagle, and the mane could use a bit more work, but overall, I like it!

that is a cool drawing, and your reasons are good, though I don´t know what you wanted her to turn out to look like?
The shades of black to light blue on her (cloudy) mane and and tail look awesome, I´ve never seen that in a Luna drawing before...

She looks a bit happy in the picture, not quite evil, but I believe you did that on purpose, did you?

I am just not that fond of the show-styled wings(they are too simplistic IMHO..and you are Right^^ I could use some more time to finish the mane and the tail, but I live in Russia It's 3 am here and my cold is killing me so I decided to be lazy!)

What on Equestria are you talking about?  This looks great!!!  Don't be so modest!  99.9% of bronies (myself included) wish we could draw half as well as you can!  And don't feel sad about Nightmare Moon either; she's back, Woona's back, no worries, everything's alright now!  Here, to make you feel better, have some Woona!    Once again, great job!

Thanks!) As was said, I was a bit lazy..the shading is not fully done..and I could spend more time to make a good BG..

Thanks! I spent 2 hours drawing an anatomy sketch that I will use to draw Celestia later, just will make some fixes for our sunny princess^^ I could do her mane better I guess)

Awww, Thanks! I mean..I havn't been drawing for long, which means I still have a long road ahead of imrovement, that's all I was willing to say!)

Quite show-accurate, with a few touches that are good.

Really like the effects on the hair.

Everything seems proportional.

 

Cons:

The wings could use a bit more detail.

The eyes relative to the mouth seem a bit off.

This is a great drawing. Love it love it love it, even if it could use a few small finishing touches. I wish I had the talent and motivation necessary to produce something like this.

 

And yeah, Nightmare Moon rules. Awesome antagonist to start the series with. And while her exile may be a bittersweet moment, for me any sadness was outweighed at how happy I was to see Luna redeemed.

The mane isn't done properly... and that makes me sad

Another thing-the wings aren't done in style of the show, although it looks like you intended this.

Finally, the background just looks like you blurred some colors.

Everything else? Perfect!

Yes!) I stick to wings with some basic real bird anatomy..It's just a personal preference!) 

I was too lazy and felt to sick (38.5 temperature + blocked nose and stuff and stuff..) to do the BG properly^^
