Dear Princess Celestia, today I discovered it doesn't matter why a pony crosses the road. Ponies cross roads for any number of reasons, but the best reason of all is to say hello to a friend you saw on the other side of the road. At that point, making the effort to reach the other side without getting hit by a passing vehicle is the first step towards strengthening a friendship. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.

Ya sure that pony didn't cross the road for some good old Apple Family cider? Maybe they got a hankerin' fer some Apple Pie? Apple Strudel? Apple Tart? Apple Turnover? Stewed Apples? Apple Fritters? Apple and Cinnamon Muffins? Up and at 'em, Granny Smith, we got company!

Um... I don't know why the pony crossed the road, but... you know... anything you want to do is fine.

Maybe the pony crossed the road because he wanted some cupcakes! Or maybe the pony was a mare? Plenty of mares like cupcakes too! Why wouldn't a mare like cupcakes? Why wouldn't anypony like cupcakes? If some ponies don't like cupcakes, maybe they like fudge. Fudge is yummy-yum-delicious! Eat a lot of fudge, get a pudge and be unable to budge!
