Kind of difficult to choose. I will list my favourite games instead.

 

Sonic Adventure 2

Super Mario World (also kaizo variant)

Pokemon Blue (pure nostalgia)

Tetris

Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney

 

And I think that's a broad enough list for now. Oh, and of course touhou 6.

hmmm the first place is WoW. I can't imagine my life without this game! It's so awesome and unbeatable

 

And there are Unreal Tournament, Starcraft,, Warcraft, Diablo series, Commandos, Broken Sword, Legacy of Kain, Tony Hawk's series, Airline Tycoon, Gothic, Planescape Torment, Arcanum. - those are unique and memorable games, part of my own history and have special place in my heart

 

Need for Speed, Elder Scrolls, GTA, Sims - and other average ( for me) games

 

But mostly WoW, that game consumes my life, and I couldn't be happier about it

I must say im really enjoying the X-COM game series

 

I played the original 2 and they were fantastic between being a mix of action and Tactical RPG its really difficult to manage all your finaces and it holds off very long. Im getting the new one that recently came out for Christmas.

I have had many many favorites over the years so it is hard to pick just one, my current "favorite" ie the one I have been playing the most for almost a year or so has been Star Wars the Old Republic. I have played at least a little bit of all 8 stories and so far my favorite empire character is the Sith Warrior and my favorite republic character is the Smuggler. I have never played an MMO before this game so this was a new experience for me and since I am more of a console gamer the controls took some getting used to but it was one of those must plays for me being the hard core Star Wars fan that I am. The first character I tried is the Sith Inquisitor, nothing says dark side like frying your opponents with force lightning. Of course I prefer the Sith Warrior simply because the playstyle more closely matches my aggressive nature while you have to be a bit more careful with the Sith Inquisitor.

I'd have to say BF3 (how cliche), only because of it's multiplayer. I always love some decent competition (I can never back down from a challenge), and also if I get bored, I can always have fun messing around with my platoon full of bronies (the brony guards).

 

But if I had to choose a game because of it's single player, I would most definitely choose skyrim. I just love open world games like this because of the scenery, crazy enemies, and amazing protagonist abilities. (I also have gotten too many laughs out of when I fus ro dah something off a cliff, not to choose this to be my favorite)

No matter how many times i replay these games, the awesomeness never ends.

 

I can't stop playing them, i really can't.

Since my PS2 died i was DYING to play any of these games anywhere, it didn't matter if i had to start all over again, i still enjoy it.

Now that i have a good PC i can emulate them with no problems.

If you haven't played the Final Mix versions, i really recommend you to. Why? It adds a lot of things, and what i like most: Final Mix Proud Mode for KH1FM and Critical Mode for KH2FM, these two gamemodes put you to the awesome experience of Kingdom Hearts depending on how you play.

I play with wise moves, i try to not to move that much and block/tech-hit/counterattack everything, i just use dodge rolls when it's neccesary, if i have to heal i use Curaga, not potions, this makes the battle intense

If you are that kind of person who just rushes and mashes attack hoping to win then you are screwed, and you shouldn't play Final Mix versions if that's the case.

If you think you are up for a challenge, then go get Final Mix, the only problem is that both are in Japanese, except KH2FM that has a fanmade translation in english and italian.

Every Metal Gear Solid. The gaming franchis seems to outdo itself every release, on the cutting edge every time. Hideo Kojima is one smart bastaardo.Wether I'm playing Big Boss, Raiden, or the man himself, Solid Snake; I'm always immersed and aching for more. The story is nothing less then perfect. The whole game series is just perfect as a whole. I will say 4 had the most emotionally intense trip which brought man tears forward PLENTY of times, all in the right way mind you. An amendable send off to the best character in gaming history.

As much as I like Team Fortress 2, I can hardly say that it is my favorite game. Story is incredibly important to me in my games, so "pick-up-and-play" games aren't really my thing. Even though TF2 does have some story and the like, it's not really evident from the gameplay and only really appears to those who read up on it, pay attention, and investigate.

 

In actuality, I have no idea what my favorite game is. Bioshock, Pokemon Black/White, and Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations are some of my favorites simply based on their stories but still, I can't quite say they are my favorite favorites.

I would say the Final Fantasy series is my favorite. It has great storylines, awesome gameplay, good character depth, graphics are among the best, and has some of the funnest minigames ever made. It also contains my favorite game character of all time. Go Rikku!

Wild Arms 2 is without a doubt my favorite game ever and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs or wild west stuff. If you feel the need to play Wild Arms 1 first I should warn you that the two games are very different. Then three's WA3 which is so much wild west it's crazy. <3

Explanation:

 

Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut - I loved how each character had their own story, I loved the music, the characters, and I loved the story and setting. And the intro was badass. 

 

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Great characters...Shadow, is my personal favorite. I loved the music, the story, and the setting was pretty fun.

 

Star Fox Adventures - The story was interesting, I love Krystal and Fox, the characters were great, the music was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoy it, even if some areas made me angry.

 

Portal 2 - I love the setting, interesting premise for a game, great characters, and it's my favorite game of all time...this should have been expected.

 

Alan Wake - I LOVE how you can collect those story pages in the game, it was like a story within a story. The characters were fine. The setting, great, while the story was awesome.

 

Mirror's Edge - The game is so different from the rest and I love every moment of that. The game is plain out fun and it's just an enjoyable experience. 

 

Silent Hill 3 (I like every game in the franchise, but I don't have much experience with Shattered Memories or The Room) - I just remembered about this when Rainbow Factory posted about it. Heather is a great protagonist, the monster designs are good, and it's a pretty interesting experience.

 

Honestly, there are A LOT more and we'd be here all day if I continued.

For me, it's a tie between Custom Robo and Paper Mario.

 

 

 

Custom Robo is such a simple concept. A robot fighter where you win parts from your opponent and use them to create stronger machines while progressing in a fairly linear but interesting storyline. The writing is really funny at times, the gameplay is very fluid and there is a lot of customization you can do.

 

Paper Mario?... I don't think I need to do a write up. It's freaking paper mario, the game I rented the most when I was a kid. I rented the game so much my parents bought it for me! It was that good!

My favorite game would probably be the Halo series. I like the original more than I do the newer ones, but I still love them  . Halo: CE was a game I spent HOURS on that game when my brothers got it when it came out on PC. I grew up playing it and loved it, and I still do.
