Dox thought for a moment. He really couldn't think of a good question. "Ummm... how about... your favorite instrument?" A terrible first question, but the only one he could really think of. He grinned sheepishly. "Sorry... only thing I could think of..." He let out a sigh.

Sky looked at over the mane ((dat pun)) part of the damn. He noticed how high it was and he got an idea. He casually trotted to the edge of the railing. A sign said NO CLIMBING/NO ESCALADA, Sky just smirked to himself. He went on top of the railing. At first his balance was perfect than he started flailing his hooves wildly and was starting to fall over the edge....

Aquaris noticed a pony about to fall off the edge and raced towards him and grabbed him in time. "You know it's a bad idea to sit on the railing you could fall" Aquaris said helping the pony back up onto the platform. "What were you even thinking anyways" Aquaris said

Aquaris noticed a pony about to fall off the edge and galloped towards him with all his might. Aquaris yelled, "Grab my hoof!" and reached out for him.

 
He noticed the pony race toward him and he reached out to him but it was too late he was already falling over the edge. As the ponies looked over the edge, they realized he just fell down to the balcony right below. It was a shameful ploy for attention. He laughed at everyone's expressions. As he climbed back up he was met with glares from all the ponies and he trotted off somewhere to hide himself for he thought it was pretty funny but no one seemed to agree...

Ocean knew that this would probably be brought up. She thought for a moment before answering. "Uh...I don't...I mean...I do...but rarely." She lied. She was rather good at lying considering she had to do it pretty much every time anypony said the word "Water"

((We're in a carriage on the way back to the hotel...unless i'm wrong and the carriage just hasn't left.))

 

She was lying, he was sure of it. Her expression was pretty good, but her stutter brought it to his attention. He smirked at her and opened his mouth to say something, when the grip on his hoof tightened even further, causing him to wince. Subtly, he tried to shift away from Scamps, but it didn't loosen her grip any, and Cliff made an entertaining face as he slowly lost feeling in his hoof. "Ow," He gasped.

 

Once he settled with the uncomfortable situation, he tried to focus back on Ocean. It didn't seem nearly as important now, but still, she was lying about swimming. Why on earth would somepony lie about swimming? "Are you sure?" He asked teasingly, "You didn't sound very certain of yourself there, sweetheart. I can teach you to swim if you'd like, in clouds or in a pool. It's not hard."

Ocean shook her head. "No...I know how to swim." She said. She knew that Cliff knew she was lying and only hoped he wouldn't question anything further...buuut...that did mean she would get to spend time with Cliff...no no, she couldn't let her secret get out...but what about time with Cliff ? Hmmm.

She glanced out the window then looked back. "Would you like to...go...to...someplace...with me ?" She mentally facehoofed. *Great going, Ocean...great going.* She thought.

Oh, they're all so adorable when they blush, Cliff thought to himself, and grinned suddenly, his entire day perking up. "Sure, sweetheart, what do you have in mind? There's a nice little café down in the lobby of the hotel, serves pretty good hayshakes."

 

All right, so maybe the whole trip wasn't a total waste after all. Ocean was a cute little filly, slender and svelte in all the right places. There seemed to be a fluidity in her movements, like a dancer or a skyswirler. "Or, there's a couple of nice restaurants in the hotel. We could go there, make it a date." There was that incorrigible wink again.

In her mind all she could think about was dinner and a restaurant...just the two of them. *Dinner dinner dinner...come on say...wow...I am acting so girly right now...what should I wear ?* She thought.

In her mind all she could think about was dinner and a restaurant...just the two of them. *Dinner dinner dinner...come on say...wow...I am acting so girly right now...what should I wear ?* She thought.

 

"Dinner it is then," He grinned. "I'll meet you down in the lobby around, say, six?" That would give both of them plenty of time to unwind after they arrived at the hotel. It was still late morning, after all, and he had to see about Scamps being settled in. He didn't like the idea of her just being plunked down someplace like a snow globe.

 

The hotel loomed closer, and the carriage slowed as they flowed into the smoggy traffic of Las Haygus. Thanks to the emergency markings along the sides, the carriage was able to pull up right next to the hospital, and Scamps was unloaded. Cliff was tugged along by her fierce grip on his hoof, but one of the orderlies gently pried her off and continued wheeling her inside. Cliff massaged his hoof and winced. "Tight grip," He muttered under his breath.

 

He tossed Ocean a smoldering glance over his shoulder. "Six o'clock, sweetheart, don't forget. I'm going to go make sure they don't just stick Scamps in a corner somewhere." Cliff winked, and trotted inside the hospital.

Ocean nodded...but then she realized. "Wait wait wait." She called, climbing out of the carriage after Scamps and Cliff. "The whole reason I left the dam was to make sure Scamps is alright...luckily this isn't far away from the hotel so its within walking distance." She said.

She quickly ran up next to the ponies and Scamps who was lying on the stretcher.

Stacy had been sitting in the back of the carraige the whole way to the hospital minding her own buisness, in this case, sleeping. She woke again when the carriage stopped at the hospital and watch as some stallion carried scamps into the large building.

Eve held her silence through the entire exchange between Cliff and Ocean. She had no idea what to make of their plans. Well, it sort of fit, but Eve found herself with misgivings. She wasn't sure whether Ocean was making a wise choice or not.

 

Anywho... All she could do was hope that things went well for her friend.

Stacy let out a yawn before replying and fought the urge to fall asleep again. "I've just been... Tired. I don't know why. I'm getting kind of hungry too." A growl from her stomach agreed with her. Stacy let out another yawn before half-closing her eyes while she propped herself up on the door and looked out the window.

Eve chuckled, and shrugged at the same time. "Maybe you've got a cold or something, I dunno," she said, sounding unconcerned. "Well, since we're back here, I suppose we could go find something to eat. If you'd like, I mean." 

 

She hadn't had any dinner last night, and had a pitiful breakfast that morning. She was utterly ravenous, and would probably go eat with or without Stacy. But she'd be happier if Stacy would come.

Stacy looked from the window and locked eyes with Eve. "Yeah, that actually sounds really good." Stacy replied now beaming and out of her tired state. She hopped out of the carriage and waited for Eve to catch up. 'Now where in Equestria is a good place to eat?'

"I dunno," Eve mumbled, hopping out of the carriage after Stacy. "Cliff mentioned this one place while he was flirting with me last night... I'd barely just arrived, can you believe it - and it was... What was it again? Oh, I think this might have been it." She pointed at this one place right across the road, that seemed to stand out as being obviously a nice restaurant, as compared to all the raunchy casinos surrounding it.

Stacy looked in the direction Eve had pointed to and saw the restaurant. "Ohh, that does look like a nice place." Stacy said as she bounded up to the building for a closer look inside. "Come on Eve, I'm starving!" Stacy yelled across the street as she was already half way in the building.

Eve smiled at Stacy's enthusiasm. "Some of us use crosswalks, you know," she called, but she wasn't sure Stacy had heard. 

 

She dawdled her way over to Stacy, looking both ways before crossing the street, and all that nonsense. Once she had entered the doorway, the aroma of a dozen different well-crafted entrees wafted up Eve's nose, and her mouth began to water. A waiter trotted up, and showed them to their seats, just inside the front window.

Scamps was put in the hospital bed, and was awoken using some medicine and such, but not much. Her eyes blurred, and she saw Airy agaon, and some other mare. "Airy...only....need to see him....alone....please." she croaked out. Her concussion was still arising, and the doctors hadn't given her much time to talk. She was still barely concious.

 

"Please Airy....Come closer."

 

The doctors, not wanting her to get confused or upset, attempted to usher out Ocean as best they could, leaving only this "Airy" fellow.

Ocean was ushered out of the room but she did her best to stay by Scamps...which was no use.

She was pushed out into the hall and the nurses closed the door.

She stared at the door...she knew Scamps was obviously not right...but she felt hurt none the less.

She sat down by the door and stared down at the ground...

"I love adventure too" Milly said smiling at Dox then listened to what he said next "Oh yea...i hope we aren't stuck here,  i would hate to walk back, but yes haha, we do have each other" Milly winks at Dox then looks around "i think i see a carriage but it looks different, it might be a different carriage...maybe they left but another carriage came" Milly said to Dox "Well, i guess its time to go back!" Milly said walking to the carriage

Stacy waited impatiently for Eve to simply cross a street. Once Eve had caught up and a waiter showed them to their table Stacy quickly scanned through the menu for something. Anything! "Ah ha! Grilled sunflower and cheese enchiladas! Haven't those in a while."
