Well, Twilight won't easily turn on Celestia. She is heer teacher, her mentor, someone who is extremely special to her. And, even if she somehow did turn on her, she would have to go up against Celestia, Lina, and Cadance as well. Three alicorns against her and her friends. Even if you helped them, I'm sure the princesses would overpower you all.

It will never come to open battle, I won't let it. I would tell you my plans in full, but I probably shouldn't. 

I love math. I love to follow rigid structures and rules, especially those I make up myself and impose on others.

Well, if you want your 'system' to be there is no system, I'd be happy to follow that!

 

I don't really strive to be in a position of power, so although imposing rules on others sounds fun, I probably won't be doing that. I usually just follow rules others make. I consider myself quite pragmatic, and in my experience, causing chaos is a waste of time and resources in most cases. It is usually easier and more efficient to just follow the rules, or at least pretend you're following them while setting up your plan until it's too late for them. That's why your plan to befriend the Mane 6 in order to overthrow Celestia sounds like a good idea to me.

 

You know, upon reflection I'm starting to think I might just be neutral neutral necktie instead of lawful neutral necktie. At first I thought 'math = structure = laws = lawful', but now I don't think I value direct lawfulness as much as I thought I did. However, 'neutral neutral necktie' doesn't have a nice ring to it...

Oh, it's called 'true neutral' instead of 'neutral neutral'? That sounds so much better! I still think I'm most likely in the lawful neutral category, though. I mean, I definitely see the value in disorder sometimes, but given the choice between using order or disorder to get what I want, I'd probably go with order, unless disorder is obviously by far the best option.

After watching this morning's episode, I had a little epiphany.

 

You know the little fake, washable tattoos they make for kids? Well, how about fake, washable Cutie Mark tattoos? They're just about the same; nothing like the real thing and completely harmless. They would not give the users any special talents, and are there just for show.

 

I could imagine a little part in an episode (or, perhaps, a full episode) where the CMC "get" their Cutie Marks (a.k.a. the fake tattoos) and, because people in Ponyville conveniently never ask for validation (perhaps they've never seen CM Tattoos before), everyone congratulates them on finally getting their Marks. (Even maybe Diamond Tiara and/or Silver Spoon. Probably not gonna happen because of their characters, but it's just a thought.) But of course, the CMC are found out as the tattoos, due to a mishap involving water or something, get washed off, exposing their still blank flanks. End of episode.

 

Then again, maybe I'm just crazy. Yeah, that's probably it.
