Crysis was made by the company that made FarCry.

Glad to hear I'm not crazy for being reminded of it.

It's a butt-old game that requires pretty much nothing to run at this stage.

So, do I buy from some stranger over the internet? Does it run on a laptop with Vista?

PC gaming is not expensive, it just requires more effort. And I'd say that effort more than pays for itself.

Truth be told, I'm more of a casual gamer in the sense that I'm not going to try too hard for my games. I haven't been playing any games recently either...

My laptop can't seem to run the internet without occasionally crashing :/

 

Any wired controller works for computer. You just need one download from Microsoft to enable it. Some controllers may need a program for certain games.

If you have not invested time and effort in gaming capable computer, you are not going to play AAA games on computer.

You click on those "Free iPhone" ads too and then act slightly insulted for not getting one?

Humble Indie Bundle.

They don't require a gaming rig and are far more involved than anything on Console with minimum effort.

 

PC is not just the superior gaming rig because it offers better platform with more involvement and better games, it also contains all the games with minimum effort involved.

Browser games for example. Free, no effort involved to run, and fun.

 

Consoles only offer console games. Overpriced sequels and games that cater to the known audience.

 

PC offers everything in the world of gaming, better than anything else.

Aah. I haven't searched YouTube for anything new in so long. I only go there now to gather music or maybe watch a vid linked to me in various ways.

I'm mostly a PC gamer nowadays, i used to be console only but that was because i couldn't afford the hardware for a PC. (7-8 years ago) Even though i play mostly on my PC, i've my Wii, 3DS and pretty much any Nintendo console up to date which i use from time to time. Nintendo games to me are another level of gaming experience, some things that i can't find in PC games.

 

So why not have both.

 

With that said, i'm heading off to sleep.

@Ganaram (I'd quote the post but too lazy): Yeah, I went to ST. I quit playing SC4 much though cause I lost inspiration due to all the City Journals (CJs) being perfect there, and if I entered one, they'd be all like "INSTALL MORE CUSTOM CONTENT" or "YOU NEED TO TERRAFORM MORE" or something like that even though I've done it to the most I've can.

it's most definitely some kind of hack, though, since it links to a FB page in the top, called TheeActionBastard.
