DOORKNOB

It does this fairly often, I wonder if our house's plumbing is messed up...

Every teenager's room has to smell like raw sewage.

It's the law.

I thought it was sweat.

Random question: I haz one pumpkin. What pony should I attempt to carve in it?

I was thinking Nightmare Moon or Luna since it is her/their night, but i kinda wanna do Pinkie or Derpy.

Think you're good enough to make both Luna or NMM and Derpy?

He thought he had the catch, apparently he doesn't know what ball security is. You could see that he let up for just a second, and the ball got knocked out. I've been following the Ravens since 2003, so much heartbreak... so much heartbreak.

If it weren't for Art Modell relocating the Browns to Baltmore, they would have a Super Bowl by now. Firing Belichick was also pretty idiotic but hey, who am I to complain?

John Whateley lived about a mile from town,

Up where the hills began to huddle thick;

We never thought his wits were very quick,

Seeing the way he let his farm run down.

He used to waste his time on some queer books

He’d found around the attic of his place,

Till funny lines got creased into his face,

And folks all said they didn’t like his looks.

When he began those night-howls we declared

He’d better be locked up away from harm,

So three men from the Aylesbury town farm

Went for him—but came back alone and scared.

They’d found him talking to two crouching things

That at their step flew off on great black wings.

The great hill hung close over the old town,

A precipice against the main street’s end;

Green, tall, and wooded, looking darkly down

Upon the steeple at the highway bend.

Two hundred years the whispers had been heard

About what happened on the man-shunned slope—

Tales of an oddly mangled deer or bird,

Or of lost boys whose kin had ceased to hope.

One day the mail-man found no village there,

Nor were its folk or houses seen again;

People came out from Aylesbury to stare—

Yet they all told the mail-man it was plain

That he was mad for saying he had spied

The great hill’s gluttonous eyes, and jaws stretched wide.

P_M making poems? And a good one?.......OH MY CELESTIA, THIS IS IT, WE'RE GONNA DIE!.......... :P Nah, just kidding. That was actually quite good! :)

Any particular face/expression of hers?

Well, I don't have a picture being on my iPod. All I can think of is either her 'meh' face or that derp eyed smile.

Haaaiiiillll no.

I don't think I'm good enough for just one, but hopefully with a picture and tracing it can be done.

Wish you luck with that! :D

Don't worry, I understand every single bit of that. Even I admit YAC is not exactly easy to believe with how he is (and he could have been more decent when presenting himself). I don't know much about this, so I TRY not to be a prejudging, naive, hypocritical bastard and say something that doesn't belong or is hurtful. I can totally understand your feelings, trust me. :)

But I got confused. You like the fandom a lot, but you think that most of it is bad?...I'm slightly thrown off here (you are welcome to ignore me though).

No, no, I probably mistyped or wrote something incorrectly. What I meant was, as a whole, the fandom is good. It produces a lot of fantastic fanart, fanfiction(well, okay, some good fanfiction) and other fan material, and most people generally get along and are really friendly, and are in some ways more tolerant than you might expect elsewhere. I mean, I and several others on this forum are openly trans and have received no (public) hatred that I am aware of--that's almost unheard of!

So to answer your question: no, I think the majority of the fandom is good. I do, however, think its bad issues are particularly bad, and the ones that are specific to the fandom and that aren't problems with society as a whole are things we really ought to work on fixing as fast as we possibly can. The one that keeps coming back to my mind is the insistance that "brony" is gender-neutral. It isn't. We should accept that and stop trying to force it on people who don't want to use it. That's just an example though.

At least Art Modell didn't move his team in the middle of the night, like when the Baltimore Colts were moved to Indianapolis. Both of these happened before I became a fan of them anyways, so I couldn't care less about them.

Random thought I just had: why are Nightmare Moon's initials NMM? Should just be NM.

Because on the wiki, her name is Night Mare Moon? Posted Image

Ah, I understand. The brony example is a little.......dumb, for lack of a better word. It's a label. I already used it as a gender-neutral plenty of times. Besides, we would be the only fandom with gender-separating labels, which to my honest opinion, is a little silly.

Every fandom has its bad things. And ours is DEFINITELY NOT going to be excluded from that point. But, in my opinion, I think the fact that people treat bronydom like it's something that's supposed to be nicer (which I think it is), makes the bad things stick out WAAAAAY more than in others would be. I do hope that we can correct the bad things as much as we can (we know erradicating them is impossible, sadly). We take pride in being one of the nicest fandoms out there, and In like to believe that's true. All we need to do is make people realize that bad things will still happen anyway, and that we try to correct the bad ones, and we would make it better. It would probably not be easy, but not impossible. :)
