So, the games industry currently has 'From Dust' and 'Dust: An Elysian Tail', and it is now getting 'Dust 514'.

None of these games are related in any way. People just can't think of original sounding titles any more.

 

The meaning behind these titles is slightly different, but that's just it.

Let's say for example, I make a game called 'Dusted' about a hardened criminal that went around bludgeoning people with a feather duster.

Upon mentioning 'Dusted' in a conversation with someone, they'll probably think of a side scrolling family friendly adventure game instead of my brutal feather dusting rampage sim.
