Those Vettel challenges can go die in a fire. I've honestly never really tried to get as many cars as I can. I have my selct few (league cars, which are the '10 Camaro RM and Rally Car, the GT500 Yellowhat for performance Seasonals, and the Karts. Oh, and I can't forget my RX7 RM from the DLC.)

I'm doing it to Platinum the game. I did NOT waste so much time getting my cars to not accomplish it. I got one silver on the Vettel Challenges (on Monza and with cutting the chicanes), the rest are bronze (so i at lest got ONE X2010 Because I don't have any DLC), and all I'm lacking is most of the Endurance races and I would be done. there's a trophy for getting 1000 cars, so that's why I'm getting them all. I have 970, so I'm pretty damn close.

 

As for the online, I have been there very little. Mainly, because I don't know where to enter, and because I don't have any friends who play in GT5. SO yeah....not much. I've recently learned how to properly drift, at least. I always ignored the challenges because I couldn't do it, only recently I've been getting gold.

 

Oh that reminds me, did you get the first event in gold in the Grand Tour? My story is quite...heart attack-ing. Because, It took me SEVERAL tries to do it, and when I did, I was very, very close...suddenly my dad enters the room and the test ended. I did 1:17:00......which was the exact time for gold. My screams of joy were loud and clear.

Ah, I understand. The brony example is a little.......dumb, for lack of a better word. It's a label. I already used it as a gender-neutral plenty of times. Besides, we would be the only fandom with gender-separating labels, which to my honest opinion, is a little silly.

 

Every fandom has its bad things. And ours is DEFINITELY NOT going to be excluded from that point. But, in my opinion, I think the fact that people treat bronydom like it's something that's supposed to be nicer (which I think it is), makes the bad things stick out WAAAAAY more than in others would be. I do hope that we can correct the bad things as much as we can (we know erradicating them is impossible, sadly). We take pride in being one of the nicest fandoms out there, and In like to believe that's true. All we need to do is make people realize that bad things will still happen anyway, and that we try to correct the bad ones, and we would make it better. It would probably not be easy, but not impossible.

It's about the fact that it takes an intrinsically gendered word--bro, meaning brother, meaning male--and claiming that somehow applies to everyone as being gender neutral, when it isn't. I'm fine with people using it if they want to--what I object to is people claiming it's gender neutral. That's what I want to stop. Not saying that we have to automatically invent a new term. Just stop saying the term is gender-neutral when it isn't.

 

And as for the pony fandom being one of the nicest fandoms, I'll agree to that, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't work to improve. I would like to see people improve as a result of their time spent amongst the fandom, in as many respects as possible, including tolerance and understanding and acceptance of people different from themself.

Ah...I understand, and yes, agreed with all that you said. It will take a while though. At least, we're strong enough to not let many of the bad things affect us, luckily for ourselves. But, we can't let them keep on growing. Then again, this is humanity. We can be some stubborn bastards when it comes to change. But, we have faith as well, and we're also quite stubborn on it too. Let's hope it's the second that wins.

See the Endurance Races have never been worth it for me because the payoff/cars you get for it is terrible. I could do a couple of Seasonals with the 200% Bonus and I get more credits even after I buy a car with the same (or better) performance.

I know that feel. But one of the cars they give you is a Class C, if I remember correctly, and another is the GT40 from the 60's, that normally goes up to the infamous 20 mill (I just think they are lenient with you in giving you the Jaguar. )

 

Wow...I did not know it was like that. I entertain myself with the Seasonals at most least. That's the best I can do. Someday, I'll do the friggin endurances. The problem is B-Spec. I DON'T want to know how much time will I have to spend till I have 4 level 40 pilots...*shudders*

Of the special events, the most difficult are the Vettel ones, obviously. Then the Loeb and some of the Grand Tour ones, and almost in the same level, the Beginner of Nurburgring (yes, you heard me right. I HATE the 200SL...), and the last one of NASCAR.
