It's just a matter of time until I churn out something from Inkscape that has to do with this..

to ensure further corruption, Viscra is padded too, the key might still be inside her or the padding.

i just realized i want more artings of Viscra.

What it do GCT? have you ever replaced every vulgar word in a rap or metal song with pony or whatever your favorite pony is? Its really entertaining.

Should we be grateful that we're not living in 1993, where the technology was 200% bulkier and 2000% slower?

meh. i think some of these kids today should be. I for one miss the days of bulky and slow computers. I don't know why. Maybe its because it brings back fond memories when i played games with one of my sisters before she moved on.

It's called nostalgia.

I burst into treats when the last and the first snow fell

;_;

It's strange how I didn't burst into treats myself when I watched it, considering. Not to say that it wasn't emotional for me, though... That ending gave me goosebumps on my goosebumps.

Maybe I'm building up a resistance.

Something up Plummy?

Remember that little paragraph explaining the little plan I had about going straight community college, then transferring to another college later and yada yada? I'm basically not allowed, according to my guardians. They think I'm too stupid to actually be able to do it, even though I've easily taken on university level academics 2-3 years ago, already. Now, usually, I don't care what they would say/think I can/can't do, but they're the ones who have access to the money and such that I would use to pay for college and whatnot, and because of that, it means I won't be able to actually go through with my little plan, because the money will not be given to me, as they think I'm some kind of retard, and it would be a waste of money.

Multiple teachers, professors and random adults have told me that I have a great amount of potential, and some have even gone as far to say that I should have been put into some kind of special programme for the highly advanced, rather than sticking to public school. It just doesn't make sense to me that people that I've lived with for years don't realise what I can/can't do, while near complete strangers can.

Ugh, that's terrible. Your plan seemed like such a sound one, at least to some degree. Unless you can prove to them, without a doubt, that you are mentally prepared to enter community college, they may never change their minds. If there were some way to do so, I'd certainly tell you. All that comes to mind are an IQ test or, and I forget the name, but a test that gauges how much it is you know. I'm sure those cost money, and I doubt your guardians would go through with it. Either you would not succeed on the tests, and they will reprimand you for wasting their money, or you succeed, and they look like fools. And no one wants to look like a fool. It's not so much of a Catch 22 as it is just an annoying situation with slim chance of resolve. Any of that help?

I've been under the impression that one's IQ doesn't necessarily reflect their intelligence.

Do you mean placement tests at the community college? I doubt I'd be allowed to take one of those. Just because my guardians are stubborn to the point in which it hurts. They're the types that even if you prove them wrong, they still believe they're right, and they'll get angry at you for no logical reason. I really hate people like that.

It doesn't, but it does show how well you take in information and such.

Perhaps I meant a placement test. All I know is that there exist tests to gauge how much you know. And I feared that they'd be that kind of stubborn. It's hard to grow in an environment like that. They'll say it's what's best for you, but no one can always know what's best for someone all the time. And I doubt that you can make them see it your way, but there is always some small hope.

Unless you were a super genius, of which I'm somewhat certain you are not, no offence. Even I am not exactly the next Einstein. But, if you were, it is likely a college would recognize it and seek you out. It would make your guardians look stupid for holding you back. Not to say that would work, but many people are prideful. But of course, that's all hypothetical.

Logical questioning might work. It definitely does not work for everyone. But inquiring about their decisions has the small possibility of obtaining answers. It could easily incur their wrath simply because no one of authority enjoys having said authority questioned. The worst that can happen is that you will have to continue high school for another two or three years, which would be rather stupid. If it is possible for you to move the next level, you should go for it. High school is a bit of a useless thing, especially if the career you have in mind have nothing to do with the things they teach you, such as if you wish to have a job as a computer technician. So far, little of what I learned in high school was of very much use to me in college.

So all I have is either waiting patiently until they change their minds or you graduate high school, or working with them to make them see it your way. I suggest you go for that second option, because unless they become tired of your questions and abandon you, which is hopefully illegal, then the worst thing is more of the same in high school.

Okay, I need to be going soon, so I will have to sign off. If possible and necessary, , we can continue this discussion later.

When I question them of their reasoning, I literally get "Because." This is also something I really hate; people who are absolutely ignorant to things, yet making decisions about them for others, particularly minors. I digress.

I have never truly gotten the chance to show it, so how would anyone know if I am or am not? I doubt I am, but I like to think I'm not the stereotypical dumbfuck that goes to my school, in my grade now.

I merely hope you have a stroke of luck then.

That's why an IQ test could be useful. Too bad they won't go through with it....

No no, I quite enjoyed providing what limited advice I had. At least I feel as though I tried. I never get a good chance to even remotely help people.

i just finished Half-Life.

i spent 30 minutes trying to defeat Nihilanth, only to find out you have to destroy 3 Xen crystals in the room so he won't regenerate from damage all the time, making me have to restart the damn level because i had wasted all the cell and rocket ammo that were available.

it's an interesting world but my god so unsuitable for FPS-gaming.
