Pony "Races"

Hi guys 

 

Just Bringing up something that annoys me, this has got nothing to do with Earth, Pegasi or unicorn races this is to do with when people compare a ponies Looks to similar traits a Human would have.

 

An example Of this is that some Ponies Eyes are different to others, I'm sure you have all noticed this, this leads to some people saying that they are "Asian" well i do not agree on this view since a pony can't be Asian nor can it Be Caucasian since, well they are Ponies i can see where people come from with these comparisons but i disagree with the view.

 

This is just a topic of me "venting" some pent up annoyance about something i have seen a bit of recently that slightly Bugged me, it would be nice to see other peoples opinion on the matter.

Since there is a place called "Saddle Arabia" I would believe that there would be countries in Asia and therefore there are Asians.

Also zecora may be an African seeing as how, well, she is a zebra. And those are seen in the African savanna

Since Asia Only exists in our world and universe then they can't, the reason i can think of for using the play on names in Equestria is to give the watcher an Idea of what the Place is like since it gives you something to compare it to. The differences in Eyes and ears is more to do with varying the appearance of ponies since  All having the same design is just too boring.

Well i do think its dumb to say Twi is Asian (when humanized) because she's smart (quite a few people have drawn her that way) and likewise it would be dumb to say that based on their pony eyes they'd be any particular race. I've never heard of anyone doing that tbh which is a good thing. Guess Pinkie Pie might be Irish due to her red hair?  Good grief.
