Well when you think of it rap is a lot more popular than metal for obvious reasons, Since Dr. Dre is a lot more easier to listen to for most people rather than Burzum.

Hmm....come to think of it, yeah he's quite the bigger rule breaker than most rappers since all you need to do to be a "cool gansta bro" is just smoke a whole ton of weed and then you're a gangster. But meh whatever.

Meh, it's more like, you have to be a good at rapping and other people have to think you're cool. I don't think you even have to do things like smoke weed or have a gun hidden in your pants.

There's just so much better death metal out there, it saddens me when people only listen to CC and don't bother delving deeper. Also, no, cannibal corpse are not the DM equivalent of horror flicks. These guys are.

I personally don't listen to them, but my awesome dad does.  He went and saw them in Bloomington and ended up getting to drive the guitarist around all day!  I can deal with them, I'm just not a big fan.  I prefer bands like Volbeat, Iron Maiden, and Alice Cooper.  I am seeing Opeth in May though.

Whoa! you're the only other person I've seen who even knows who Impaled Is,    . I love those dudes. Have you heard Much Exhumed or Ghoul? I think those groups all kind of have the same pool of band members, haha. It's kind of frustrating for me that they rarely come to the east coast.

Cannibal Corpse was all I ever listened to back when I first graduated. I still listen to them, just not as much as I used to. CC reminds me a bit of Autopsy, another great death metal band.

I'm actually listening to Autopsy right now. /)^3^(\ I really like how they have their sorta doomy sound. There are other great death metal bands that I listen to like Death, Obituary, Carcass, Dismember, Possessed, etc.
