I consider myself to be introverted. (It's surprising how nearly 80% of the poll-takers voted introvert. Maybe introverts tend to browse forums more often?)

It makes sense. I can picture extroverts tending towards clubs, meetups, and outings IRL so they don't spend so much time on forums. Maybe we're all demographically slanted.  ^_^

I used to be extremely extroverted, but since starting at college, I've become significantly more introverted, since my school is full of a huge number of overachieving extroverts, and it actually became a bit draining to kick it with them as much as I did with my old friends. So I guess I'm in the middle.

When I'm with my closest friends, and only my closest friends, I'm quite extroverted. However when I'm with an acquaintance or someone I don't know all together, I'm usually silent and just praying that I become invisible. XD

I enjoy being around other people, but I don't really talk much myself. I think I qualify as introverted most of the time, but sometimes I feel quite energetic around people and I talk a lot, and I guess at those times I would qualify as extroverted.

Hehe! Sometimes I think I'm a little in-between, though I'd have to say I lean towards extroverted side! :muffins:

I guess you can classify me being "energised" from interaction, and that makes sense to me. I can't really deal with the solitary life and prefer actual contact over virtual. I can talk my head off most of the time, to just about anyone for any reason at all. I guess you can say thats an extroverted quality, but that's not to say I don't find comfort in relaxing walks and stuff! :proud:

But I don't see why incorporating both IRL and online contact is such a bad idea at all! I prefer a good balance myself! ;)

I'm an Introvert. Don't like social stuff, keep to myself and I only really have friends online because everyone is anonymous.

Im an introvert definitely but Id totally rather be extrovert, but due to my middle school years i kind of developed that introvert nature so I still kinda retain that bit of social awkwardness

I think I'm somewhere in between but definitely leaning towards introvert. Especially in school. I HATE most group projects.

I'm a major extrovert! I love going out with buddies (we're a rowdy group! :) ). I really don't like spending time at home cause I get bored easily and I hate being alone. If I'm not out with the guys, I'll just make some new friends! :D

"I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. I am introvert, I am usually more comfortable with more time with myself. I don't hate the company of other people, or anything, it is just that I need some time with my own thoughts.  ^_^

I'm an introvert.

My Myers-Briggs/Jungs Personality Type (from the MBTI) is INFJ.  Introvert, Intuition, Feelings, Judging.

https://www.personalitypage.com/INFJ.html

That describes me to a T.

---

If anyone is interested, these are two free MBTI test sites:

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

It's best to take the test with the mindset of "What have I done before" rather than "What would I do."

Also, taking both tests can assure accuracy, but you don't have to take both.

I'm as introverted as you could get. I'd prefer to stay in my room with my laptop, where it's quiet and peaceful, rather than be in a large crowd with several people talking at once. I wish I could be like Pinkie, but I'm Fluttershy, only about ten times worse.

I think plenty of people are getting the definition of introvert and extravert wrong here.

I'm an introvert, interacting with other people tires me out mentally and physically, the only way for me to gain back some energy is by having some peace and quiet. I like hanging out with a lot of my friends and it's always a lot of fun. Most of the time I'm the person who makes everyone laugh and I don't mind having the attention focused on me. That doesn't mean it tires me out any less than the next introvert. When I need my peace and quiet, I really do need it and I can get pretty aggressive when people try to invade my space when I just want to sit in my bed and read a book or surf the web on my phone.

One of the hardest things for me is talking with people outside of my close group of friends and family. I avoid the phone if its an unknown number, and keep to myself for the most part.

I'm, most definitley an extrovert. I love talking but just to hear others talk. There is just so much to love about communication and interaction. :)

I know there are a lot of shy people on this website so constantly, I'm trying to reach out and be the best I can be and be a friend to them.

In addition, I'm in a position where I lead. Very simply put, I'm a leader and so I have to communicate so it only helps that I love doing it and according to others I do it quite well. As the clique I hang with typically likes me leading a conversation. I know my out goingness and up front approach is strange to some people... But I'm all out there and there to not only be social but to help. I find myself constantly reaching out. If you get an arbitrary offer of gifts, advice or friendship. Just roll with it. I just want to help and be my out going self :)
