Here's something I've seen done on other websites, I'd thought I'd try it here to see how it works out.

 

This is simple, all you have to do is pick an album that you like and hope it makes it on the list. (I'll explain "the list" right now.)

 

You guys can only pick ONE album that you want to nominate, PER POST. For example: you make a post, then someone else to makes a post, then you can post again, but you have to have to vote for a different album. Easy right? 

 

Before you make a nomination, make sure the album you're nominating isn't already on the list. Thank you.

 

 

If you're wondering what the list will look like it'll look like this; (this a list I made, I'm using it as an example).

You can pick absolutlely ANY, and I mean ANY album you want. It can be by Justin Bieber, or it can be by Napalm Death. It doesn't matter. Try to pick an album that you REALLY like, not something that you only like three songs from.

 

For an album to be inducted into the list, FIVE people have to vote for that same album. I chose five so we can have some more obscure releases get inducted. If you see somebody mention an album that you want to vote for, brohoof them. It's not manditory, but it does make counting the votes for me easier. NOTE: this number may or may not change, depending on how things go. Never mind that, just pick an album, and I'll add it.

 

I'll update this OP and the list as much as I can.

I don't think 5 people should have to vote for an album, that's ridiculous. Also, I think people should be limited to the amount of albums they can nominate.

Anyway, my nomination goes to "Hemispheres" by Rush.

My nomination is of course going to Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. It is my personal favorite and is one of the most popular albums of all time. Plus it was recently inducted into the national archives so I think it definitely gets recognition for that.

Are you just saying that or are you nominating ...And Justice For All? Because I can add it if you want. BTW, I've always found AJFA to be it proggy compared to Metallica's first three albums.

You can nominate one album per post, you can post as many times as you want as long as you don't go twice in a row.

I'd like it if you'd add Selected Ambient Works 85-92 onto the list, since Richard D. James is a musical master, and SAW 85-92 is definitely his best masterpiece.

I'd just take out the numbers at the side for now, since this isn't exactly a numbered list as much as it is a cumulative thing. I also feel as though we could have a bit more variety, which is why I'm going to nominate the 1993 re-recording of Philip Glass' opera "Einstein on the Beach."

You can't nominate an album that's already on the list.

I'll go ahead for another nomination, this time being Amnesiac by Radiohead, because despite how much I love Kid A, I feel as if Amnesiac is an album by them that deserves more recognition.
