Who is this guy anyway? (Poll choices updated)

I think he's just some guy who lives in the human world, and who Twilight has never met. But just because she seems close, doesn't really mean she loves him. Just as a friend, but the poor guy would maybe end up friend-zoned.  

 

But is his name really Brad? Kinda cliche' , but other than that I think he can end up being a cool character! I mean, besides Shining Armor (and even him didn't get a whole lotta screen time), he'll be one of the few main and male characters in the show who actually play an important part. So that'll be interesting!

 

But who knows, there's a possibility for him to maybe become a new member of the Wonderbolts or something. I mean, look at his shirt! lightningbolt, Wonderbolt looking symbol. With a sheild. Even then, it's kinda hard to tell.  But I'm really looking forward to know more about this guy!

 

And...we must prepare for the shippings. Fanfic overload!

In all honesty, I hope they don't  pull any cheesy romance for the movie.  Twilight is there on a mission that doesn't involve making woo-hoo.  Maybe a hint of interest, but it wouldn't make sense for her to actually put the moves on him.

Hahahha...wouldn't it be hilarious if in the end -he- is actually the antagonist and not the girl we saw several times in the trailer? hahaa..oh man..

He's most likely to be just a generic high school dreamy boy, which will be Twilight's love interest. Though I don't think they'll take it so far as for them to kiss, but whatever.

Oh, Celestia, he's got a guitar now, too? How does every detail make him more generic? I mean, theoretically, he already has a girlfriend (who is okay with befriending Twilight), is bad at music (but enjoys playing), uses an inhaler, and is on the debate team rather than football, but I think this picture sums up who we're far more likely to get.

I think it might be shining armour, i mean look at the shield on his shirt it might be a subtle clue. Though yeah if that does happen it will be very creepy.

You guys are all wrong. Brad is none of the choices listed above. He is obviously a brother of one of the Mane Six...we just have never seen or heard of him until now.

Nah, I think his pony-world-self is Shinings successor as captain of the royal guard.

And his name is something like... Shielding Bolt... or Aegis Flash...
