True Christians' beliefs and values coincide with the main pillars of the fandom: love and toleration. Christians who persecute homosexuals are not very good Christians. Simple as that. The Bible states that homosexuality is no bueno, but it doesn't tell you to go around hating homosexuals. You hate the sin and not the sinner. I believe that. To any gay/lesbian/bi people reading, know that I don't have any problems with it. I know what the Bible says, but I also know that man is a very fallible species by nature. It's quite possible that God has no problems with homosexuality. And besides... if you read the Bible, you'll find that God is far more interested in having you love your fellow man than persecute him.

 

In fact... there's a story for this. Jesus came upon men preparing to stone a woman for adultery. He stepped in, saying "Let he who is without sin throw the first stone." That's a very real message that Christians would do well to remember. No matter how hard you try to live your life in the right way, you will never be perfect. You will ALWAYS have sin, so how dare you attempt to persecute others for their sins? 

 

I felt that this needed to be said, because I'm tired of Christianity coming under fire all the time. Everyone assumes that the crazy radicals represent all Christians... and why? Because they're more vocal. But in reality, most Christians aren't like that. You should remember that stuff you find like this is often a gross misrepresentation of the whole, much like when you see vocal cloppers throwing pony porn around, or when you find "brony crusaders" who go around trying to get everyone to watch MLP and be a brony.

I see where you and a lot of people are coming from. And i will agree and i will say sorry.

Things like this tends to tick me of very easily. 

 

I have a few Christian Friends and i love them for who they are and i don't mind their beliefs. 

However, i am not wrong when i say that "true" Christian parents tend to brainwash their kids into their beliefs. Thats true, no matter how you put it. Getting into a kids brain is easy. Just looks at Santa.

 

And to be real honest, i think its sort of cute when people believe in a higher power. But i have my line where its cute and just plain annoying and mind bugging.

That he could not possibly create a world with all these innerworkings? Hell, I think He engineered everything, even the so-called "Big Bang." He set in motion a tiny spark which created the universe. He engineered evolution. All those creation stories in the Bible are no different from the Greek myths; they are simply means of explaining the unknown.

 

But perhaps I am sliding off topic here. Does anyone think I am? I'll STFU if I am.

I'm glad to see that other Christians believe in the Big Bang! I think it's perfectly fine for science and Christianity to coincide.
