Buzz 1,769 January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 Woah, that's awesome! If my boss would want to talk to me I would get panicking to get fired XD Don't worry i was, and thats not the only embarassing moment i've had as a brony, it was only the first, and best one in my opinion! 1 "Whats wrong with being different, sometimes standing out from the crowd is a good thing. Wyzecat 350 January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 (edited) So, on New Year's day, I was wearing my Mane 6 shirt. I should probably mention now that of all the people in my family, only my mom, dad and older brother knew I was a brony. So anyways, we were eating dinner, and my uncle turned to me and said, "Did you steal that from Courtney's (My cousin) clothes drawer?" Well, my dad, brother, and every other male member of my family started laughing at me. That... Kind of sucked. A lot. Not to self: wear that shirt as often as possible to family gatherings to mock them all. whitetiger187 197 January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 (edited) I was in a Goodwill thrift store and I found a brand new MLP lanyard for $1. When I went to check out, cashier lady took it and started to ring it up. Just then, she held it up and called to the other cashier at the next counter. At first I thought she was going to mark the price down even lower. But then the other lady smiled and said, "I see it." and the lady at my counter laughed. I just started singing the first verse of "The Ballad of the Brony" as I took out my money out and grabbed my bags. Twisted Cyclone 🚓 6,259 January 20, 2015 Share January 20, 2015 Today at school, in one class we did absolutely nothing and the majority of the people in my class were playing Trivia Crack (a very fun game mind you). One of the questions this one person had just happened to be a MLP related question so I blurted out the answer without thinking and hesitating (I was also really confident too). Everyone in my class stares at me for like 3 minutes. It was really creepy and embarrassing... 4 Country and Rock fan | Car fan (especially police cars) | Weather Pony | YouTube | Twitter | DeviantART
Kabuu 59 January 21, 2015 Share January 21, 2015 Probably when my friend pulled my keys out of my pocket that were attached to a brony lanyard. Which also had a rainbow dash charm on it. It was super awkward he just stared at me and said "You're a brony?" And I just said "Yeah" and we went on with our lives. Still really awkward though. 1 Ponies ponies ponies /).3.(\

Leonard Smix 421 January 23, 2015 Share January 23, 2015 (edited) Well here is a new one for you... I was on with a friend and we were akyping and playing minecraft. chat went quiet for a short bit, and i assumed he had gone AFK. Can someone say mistake? I began to play This Day Aria outloud (without muting my mic) and even worse, i sang along -.- He came back and said "Hey turn that off. its loud!" I turned it off, he continued to go on with normal things. Holiday Agnaktor 1,436 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 I got another one! I recently told my friend that I'm a brony, and he had no clue what it means, so I told him to look it up on internet. He did. Later in steam chat it went like this: Him: "Do you really like my little pony, or did I mishear you?" Me: "You did not mishear me." *Silence for a minute or two* Him: "Oh ok then." What was funny though, is that we were simultaneously having a skype call with a few other friends who didn't know, and my friend did not show any surprise or anything at all... He's a good actor. :3 1 Awesome signature by FallenTrench People think my soul is filled with grey, but it's actually filled with rainbows! Buzz 1,769 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 The last one i posted was about how i came out as a brony to my local area. This one is about how i came out to my freinds: So we were playing COD:AW on Momentum and i had an MLP:FIM emblem on, i told my freinds it was as a joke to attract people i could troll. We found a lobby of redneck try hards who instantly saw my emblemand started mocking it and the show. I calmly argued with them until the game started. The round ended as a drawm, where one of the team member decided to talk negtivly about Derpy . At this point overtime had started and my freinds had noticed id gone quiet. I then screamed down my mic at the top of my voice "NO ONE TALKS $#!T ABOUT DERPY HOOVES!" and started shouting at my team mates to capture the flags until we had won within 2 mins. The second i could hear them calling us noobs, etc. i pulled out my phone and started playing Derp Face or whatever the songs called whilst shouting it down my mic. When the song stopped playing i procceded to shout down the mic telling them things that im not going to post on hear due to the fact that im affraid of kids seeing it . They all left and my scottish freind just goes "Your emblems not a joke, is it?" I told him no and our group switched from momentum to S&D and carried on throughout the night. 3 "Whats wrong with being different, sometimes standing out from the crowd is a good thing. Emerald Star 513 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 Yesterday my mom walked by and saw me drawing a pony before I had time to close the tab. She walked up and asked what it was...it was a pretty awkward conversation. She seemed to be okay with it, though. If I was a guy it would have been more awkward, so there's that. 1 DeviantArt:http://emera33.deviantart.com/

I told him i would BRB and left because i needed to calm myself down a bit i remember one time i was in a skype call with several dudes and we were also playing minecraft and i started listening to i thiiiink becoming popular (it was a rarity song i know that much) and for some reason they could hear my computer audio and asked me what i was doing. It was a bit awkward, but most of those dudes were bronies anyway so eh but i still felt a bit weird cuz i was jamming out and they were just sitting there listening. I figured out what was the cause of the problem but to this day i still dont listen to ANY music during skype calls.
True Rarity 1,240 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 Well, there was this time I was on a Pokémon forum, and I had the link to my deviantART in my profile - I don't know why, especially since it's a pony-centered account. My friend got a deviantART and asked for me to make her a Pokémon icon for her (it was one of my commissions at the time) and me, recognizing her Pokésona, offered to make it for her for free. Mind you, she hates pink and girly stuff, so she thought I was pretty weird, but then... She was curious and she watched the show, fell in love, and got a separate dA account for ponies. She is also now on the forums. Best thing ever. 3 My deviantART
Wyzecat 350 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 I kind of almost outed myself on this occasion. Before when I was a closet brony, I was talking to some people during lunch, and we were talking about television shows. At one point, I was asked what I watch and I said, "MLP". Fortunately, the guy who asked it had NO idea what MLP is, and looked really confused about it. I stopped talking and finished my lunch quickly then excused myself to go to the bathroom. 1 Semper ubi sub ubi Wyzecat supra omnia
alpinefroggy 451 January 28, 2015 Share January 28, 2015 (edited) Nobody knew about my broniness in my family and they decided to watch a movie but it was on a hardrive and they chose to use my computer to stream it through to our tv. I plug my computer in and since my background is twilight they all saw it. My dad asks what it is and whether it's from a cartoon and I say yes. He asks if shes Pokemon and I say no. He asks what she is and I say a pony (unicorn) my brother sorta knows about me so he clarified a tad. Then my dad asks the dreaded question, "so then where's it from?" . Me: (me in a stutter). "It's from my little pony: friendship is magic, I like watching the show" Him tired, "oh" and just begins watching the movie as it pops up. No one said a word about it afterwards or anytime after that so anymore embarrassment was avoided Edited January 28, 2015 by alpinefroggy

KatonRyu 1,033 January 29, 2015 Share January 29, 2015 And that is why I use minimal wallpapers like this one: Pony shape, but since it's not detailed people won't associate it with MLP. I do this with any shirts I buy that reference MLP. Bronies would know what they are but non-bronies don't give me any crap about it. My pc and laptop openly feature ponies though. I've never really had any embarassing moments, although there is one that's bound to happen. I listen to my own music in the car, from my phone. I have a number of MLP songs on it and it's usually on shuffle, so there's going to be a moment when someone's in the car with me and pony music comes on. I do get sort of embarrassed when it happens when my girlfriend is with me, but she knows I'm a brony so I'm fine with that.
True Rarity 1,240 January 29, 2015 Share January 29, 2015 A couple years back, I was talking with my cousin, who is my age - the only female cousin my age - and we never get to see each other, so we were catching up and all that. We were at a park, so we sat down to talk. She began talking about her sister. She said something like "She's really into stupid kid shows like Littlest Pet Shop and" - here I knew what was coming - "My Little Pony. Isn't that ridiculous?" Then she went on to talk about how she was only interested in cool cartoons like Monster High (which I was not a huge fan of). And this was also right after I became a brony, so I began feeling really awkward. I kept thinking to myself, Just play along, pretend you don't like the show; there's no reason to embarrass yourself, but, of course, I ignored my own advice and mumbled something along the lines of "Well... I... kindoflike... MyLittlePony..." At this, she stopped talking for about a second and said, "Well, it's not that bad, I actually kind of like it, too." She's acted like this before; often she changes her opinion to agree with me, but this time she actually did like it and was looking for my opinion, I guess. She reminds me a lot of a friend of mine; they're both into Monster High and they like the Equestria Girls franchise better than the original Friendship is Magic. This kind of annoys me but it's not that bad, all things considered. 1 My deviantART

alpinefroggy 451 February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 (edited) At track, whose season just started today, during stretching, we always make this running joke with one of the stretches we do. It's the butterfly stretch but we always say flutterby mixing up the words. The joke hasn't come up since I've become a brony and today it came up but me like an idiot yells out Fluttershy when someone said flutterby in a group of guys who don't know I am a brony yet. Got some odd looks but the conversations and stretching continued like normal Edited February 10, 2015 by alpinefroggy
